I've been paying more attention to other singers who do the same songs that Dan has done. Although some arrangements are a little different, some are basically the same. The one thing that always remains the same: Dan has the more beautiful voice. So Dan's covers are always my favorite. Even without looking at him, he's just got the better voice. But, we really should always be looking at him.😊❤
That's the same for me! While I enjoy other singers' vocals that are very good, Dan just has a certain beautiful quality to his voice that makes him my favorite male vocalist I've ever heard ❤️
You were right picking up on the Irish feel of this song. This cover is closely linked to the Gary Moore version who was a phenomenal guitarist in the 80’s and hailed from Ireland. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this great song from Dan. He never disappoints. 🎶🌟🎶
This song, to me, brings out the true "bard" in Dan. He's one of the best epic storytellers there is, and this story has all of the characteristics of a "necessary story to be told," as the storyteller travels through the countryside, effectively crying, "He ye! Hear ye!"
The first thing I noticed was his voice sounded different but I can't say I was surprised as Dan can do such phenomenal things with his voice! Love this version!
Dan has sung this pretty much the same as the Gary Moore version. He did the song justice. I think he had to be careful not to take away from the Celtic feel. Gary had a good voice but was/is known more for his "outa this world" guitaring. He's gone down in the annals of history as definitely being one of the best! Thank you for your reaction😘
This is one of the rare songs I love in every interpretation I've heard so far (no wonder - Gary knew what he did). And Dan's is no exception. Like this cover and his voice here. - Tommy also did a great one for his Gary. 🎶
Thank you so much for your support! I will get it in tomorrow. I have 2 songs now for Dan Vasc to review! :) I normally don't do that, but we will for tomorrow! :)

Love anything by Dan Vasc that you react to! Thanks!
Hey Maria, Dan never disappoints me. I love all his covers😊. He did a cover of Carry On, it was amazing 👏🏻🔥👏🏻👏🏻🔥
Thank you, again 💐
❤
He has a rich voice with a throaty texture and throws some grit in for emphasis. This Brazilian makes this song so Celtic. How does he do that?
We tend to say that on a lot of his covers, don't we?!? Lol 😆
@@joettamcqueen1954 Yup! 😀

Agreed!
It's another example of Dan doing Dan things. It's what I call a "story song." Whatever it's called officially, it's just another damn good song!
Very Irish sounding. Dan is wonderful as usual.
Have you heared his Sleeping Sun? 🔥
How is it possible that you haven’t heard his sound of silence cover yet?! You gotta react to it. And also bring me to life
He and his friend Gabriel have Spyglass Inn. Check those songs out.
I love your reactions to Dan Vasc and your passion for him. I would love you doing a reaction to his 'A million dreams'. Love Judith
