    Yup. I was always taught "never burn your bridges." Good advice, but that was the same person who said "it's all water under the bridge", and it was clearly glue under there, so I'm not sure they knew what they were talking about.

      Hey Todd, I think you used up all the bridge metaphors. Least I can't think of another right now. That was very heat resistant glue they used on this one.Thanks for checking in.

      I always heard that you will just have to cross that bridge when you get to it Or maybe in this case, remove it when you get to it...@@jonahguitarguy

    some of these can be a bugger to get off clean! after reading the other comments maybe it was a bridge over troubled glue! lol

    It looked like epoxy to me. I could really feel the tension in your body while you were doing that Dane! How did you have the guitar held down because you were not always using the other hand to push against?

      Hey Steve, you know how when you are pushing really hard but at the same time don't want it to blow out the other side. Kind of like a drill bit. I was using the StewMac work station. The neck was clamped in the vice. You're probably right about the epoxy. I've never had a bridge that hard to remove.
