Thanks for the video! I usually prefer applying dynamics processing before equalization (EQ). When I apply EQ first, the compressor tends to bring back the frequencies I initially wanted to reduce. Therefore, I aim to achieve a compressed signal first and then work on the frequencies I don’t like.
Thanks for posting this Jason. Is there a way to change the EQ DY FX order in Fairlight so it always presents that way when opening a new project? Thanks again.
@@JasonYadlovski it’s probably my settings Jason. I’m wondering if it’s being recorded to a different drive that’s slow. Please keep them coming, mate.
Hi Jason, great review - subbed now! :) Just an important question: I capture ambisonics audio with the Zoom H3VR and film 360°3D. The stitching software exports stabilized video footage always facing one direction even if I am turning left/right etc. but the spatial audio does not (external mic recorder). Is it possible to rotate the spatial audio with Ai panning or so automatically, e.g. by pointing it always to the back of my neck or so? Video format is equirectangular 3D (top-bottom), so a bit distorted and moving out on one othe sides means returning on one of the others. If anyone might know how to do that, than you (or any of your viewers). Would appreciate your help a lot! ❤
Thanks for the sub! I think there is a ways to do that, but I'm not 100% sure on how to do it. I know there are plugins for spatial audio - Waves has some, but I'm not familiar with the process of using them.
@@JasonYadlovski - it's a free version for the free version. Not as many files as the paid version. I downloaded the files okay, but have to drag and drop individually from outside the program. Also, is there an easier way to get the finished project to save as a movie file, or is everything needed to be rendered in chunks?
Thank you! Excellent tutorial.
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Always terrific, Jason. This, particularly granular and soooo useful. Thank you for the great work.
very nice. Great job
Thanks!
Lovely, another nice video!
Awesome as always, Jason 😁🤘🙏
Thanks again!

Always great Jason, thank you. Have noticed when you record a narration the playback of a time becomes terrible in version 19?
Thanks! I haven't noticed that, but I haven't recorded much VO into Resolve 19 yet. I'll keep an eye out for it.

@@JasonYadlovski Okey...would be great to hear from you when you know more ☺️ Thank you anyway
I can't get the audio file to show in DR on the menu in the left
What type of audio file is it? If you have the free version, it could be a format you need studio for....🤔
