My many great's- grandfather Hull is buried there. I live in Texas, US, but I've researched my paternal lineage back to the Hull family of Crewkerne, Somerset, England, who were parishioners of St. Bartholomew's Parish just before it became property of the crown. They became of the Puritan faith and came to the American colonies. My many greats-grandfather was a landowner there and he was baptized in the Parish with his godfather Sir William Sherewell.
