I mean unless this player just wanted to build like this for aesthetics, it makes 0 sense. You lose the 25% craft speed from the crafting stations being in enclosed spaces and 25% reduced reagents cost from matching floors building like this and he just has to build a wall around the whole perimeter to avoid you getting in like that. I think the frog jump here is ok, it's his fault for not closing off that hole, but being able to land in the unclaimable parts that stick out of the square grid format is kinda dumb. It removes build variety and basically forces you to have walls all around instead of being able to integrate a bit of the natural habitat into your base structure. Not to mention that for raids you just have to break one wall and your partner can fly over the base and drop next to their main room and get in easy breaking only one wall, so this forces you to build you main room in the middle and add layers around it. I like the game a lot, but they need to fix a lot of stuff.

Like the comment above, people argue that it's an issue when you can land at the backside of someone's base after the golem put the base into siege mode. But it honestly doesn't matter. Let's say someone does it, they land behind the base on a ledge, melee through one wall and are in your treasure room. Then what? They can't loot and bat form back out. Only way to get any loot out of the castle is to WALK out of it. So at the end of the day, they'll still have to carve a path through your entire front door and honeycomb if they actually want to carry loot out.
@@purpleltv3817 They can just jump down with the loot without any transformation? Even high ledges can just be vaulted, unless the treasure room borders impassable terrain, the problem usually is just getting up.

Don't entirely blame you, that is part of the game and I kinda understand it must be enjoyable/funny to do so and you seem like a cool guy so not taunting etc., you just make the most of the game but tbh kinda feel "sad" for the guys. Game is rather punishing for casual who still want to enjoy a bit of pvp play, if there are some tricks that can be exploited against "us" (casual players) then we are in even more deep water than we are already. Defense vs bat form is super easy, only the tombs and farms can be hit by bat form because both must be outside, but the player using bat form cant fly out with any of the loot so as long as you make you're base frog proof no one can steal you're loot, tho they can drop it on the ground so be careful about tombs because at higher lvl you might have mats in it to spawn banshees and stuff and troll bat can come by grab the loot drop it on the ground for despawn and leave.
They can't land in Bat form on claimed territory. So as long as you have stone walls, you're safe against bat and frog. Somebody in frog form may jump behind your base, bypassing deffences and drop a golem there, it you build your base wrong.

this is why we need half squares in the shape of triangles. literally not being able to clam those half square triangle spots next to terrain limits base building.

But come on man, who builds everything outside on a PVP server where people can actually open your chests if they can get to them? I'd understand if it was a PVE server since, you know, you can't do shit to other's chests unless you are in their clan. But this...? This is just neglect on their part. That's like keeping your doors open at all times or don't building doors in the first place.

Got raided very early into a pvp server. no way they couldve got the bat or from that quick. i left the doors open on the top of the cliff but blocked off the stairs. well i came back and most of my stuff was gone. My first thought it i forgot about the horse jump you can do at an angle if the entrance isnt 3 wide on the stairs.
Also: Why build crafting stations outside to begin with?! The player clearly is past the stage where they cannot afford to build walls and floors. Heck, you WANT to have it under a roof and with the right floor for time and efficiency's sake! This just screams "Eh, I'll just plop it down wherever. I don't really give a shit." at me. And if you care that little about your base you probably shouldn't bitch about it being raided.
And forward bases also help if they block main base from golems, cause its the first barrier that provides the most defence, the rest of them are mostly wasting time, but enough boxes can make your base cost more than 1 golem to siege and that could make it not worth it.
its pvp, the goal is to zero out the enemy players progression so you have less competition, they may be low lvl now but one day you can come online and they have raided you.

You get nothing, and early level those mats are so easy to get you just delay them an afternoon, but targeting a base that could actually be a threat would ACTUALLY set them back (and do what you're suggesting) Why worry about those that can potentially be an issue to you when you have people TO worry about already. It's just griefing at that point in my eyes.

It's the abuse of the Frog some people want raided by other and not want hiding behind 99999 Walls

Make a lot of servants and put gear on them.
