      +9/11 insidejob Currently Buick has the least problems out any American car. 3rd under Lexus and Porsche. And it is the only American car to make it in consumer reports top 15 reliability rating, at 7

    I purchased a fully loaded 2017 Lacrosse with the premium trim level and couldn't be happier. I absolutely love the way it rides and handles, especially with the sport setting on. It has so many options I'm having a blast learning them all. It is by far the quietest, best riding, and best driving car I have ever owned. It handles like a dream on any road I’ve throw at it, has plenty of power, gets excellent gas mileage and is super comfortable for long trips. And I think it is the most stylish car on the market, not gaudy but sophisticated in its looks and styling. I tested a number of competitive models from Lexus, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Acura, BMW and Lincoln and they just didn't compare to this car on features for the price and in many other ways. Anyone wanting a luxurious, quiet, great handling car, with plenty of power may want to take a look at the Lacrosse!

    damn, the best part is the price, at 32K its a huge value proposition yet it still offers a nicer interior and ride than the MKZ, MKS, RLX, and TLX. well done buick.

    • @TruthFLA
      @TruthFLA 8 років тому +1

      the model he drove is the 50k model.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois 8 років тому +1

      TruthFLA and the RLX starts at 55K the continental starts at 45K a fully loaded lacrosse tops out at 50K. so whats your point?

    • @TruthFLA
      @TruthFLA 8 років тому +3

      +justin bouche you mentioned 32k as a good value proposition. no one wants the base model. most want the higher end model. if you are asked to drop 50k, most will opt for Aisan Lux over a Buick. its only a great value if its cheaper not if its the same or more.

    • @coureurdebois
      @coureurdebois 8 років тому +2

      50K with every option is damn good, the fact is you can get a loaded lacrosse for 45K (this one has some "other options" (like floor mats things like that) so yes, when you can get amid-entry level luxury car with every option for less than 50K while every one else will shoot up to 60 - 70K thats a damn good bargain.

    I frankly like this Buick; the price undercuts all of its European & even Japanese competition. Yes it isn't sporty, but not everybody wants a bone-jarring & stiff ride. Cadillac used to cater to this market, but has since then left it to chase BMW. It is nice to see the traditional large American luxury FWD cruisers still alive, even if the market segment it caters to is small & shrinking.

      Judging by the recent direction of Cadillac, the XTS days are numbered. Since the large CT6 arrived & the CTS being a well received midsize luxury sedan, the XTS really has no reason to stay.

      Well, it's not intended to compete with anything high-end Europe luxury car. That said, being 1/2 the price of any similarly equipped European luxury car is actually pretty freaking impressive. In the last few years, I've really become less and less impressed with European luxury car and now see them as disgustingly overpriced, while these value luxury cars like the Genesis and the Lacrosse have blown me away with how much they offer for so little money.

    • @kvallyx
      @kvallyx 8 років тому

      European cars are now far over rated than ever. The majority of made in North America are just as good and better in many cases. It is too bad we don't have but one luxury automaker here, Cadillac. Lincoln just isn't cutting it yet. I know they are trying, but I think I remember them saying they don't want performance luxury. They wanted to be the Lincoln of the past focusing on comfort and conveniences. That leaves Chrysler products, which if you take out the 300m, there is no other luxury in the US.

    Thank you I have been getting so sick of every review, even for SUVs, about 0-60 or canyon carving. I'm like there are other people in this world that think about other things from their cars. I am not a Lexus person but I purchased an ES for a quick sale but fell in love with how soft and serene the driving experience was. That kind of luxury has its place and is very valid as these cars start to ride ruffer and ruffer. Buick seems to have made a really nice proposition with this car.

      This a product of the media controlling people’s minds, we are told performance and sport are what is hot even though on a daily drive you will never need that. People need quiet, soft, comfortable ride with good fuel economy.

    If Hyundai and Kia can claim their rebadged cars as part of the 'luxury' segment, certainly this Buick model is worthy of that same category.
    I think Buick's biggest challenge with enticing modern sedan shoppers has always been in the looks department. I'm glad to see that they've finally done substantial something to address that (just look at how many Optimas instantly appeared on the road upon design even though they were all FWD four bangers that had K.I.A. written on it). No, it's not a Lamborghini but, as far as sedans are concerned, this is finally an option worth considering.
    I'd buy one of these AWD models tomorrow, if I were in the market. However, if they offer another 'Super' edition that isn't FWD (what an embarrassment that was), I'd be calling the dealership right now to reserve one in red.
    Welcome back to the party, Buick. Now that your here, try to keep up.

    This car looks so much better. Especially with the smaller A pillars.. GM should've put smaller A pillars on the new Camaro.

    i think they went after mercedes with the exterior design, and they did a hell of a job making it look nice.

    When are they gonna grow a par and build the Buick Avista?
    You shoulda asked him WTF?
    "Hey, WTF man?"

    They made the car lower, but the (probably older) buyer who is looking for comfort and luxury will not necessarily be thrilled about that.

    First time GM has done a start/stop engine? Didn't Saturn when it existed have it? Didn't the e-Assist engine have that? Or is he saying that this car does not have extra batteries and is a new implementation of start-stop?

    3:14 Beans :-) BTW, the car's profile is like a Chevy Malibu. Also, it doesn't look like the seat provides much side/hip support; which has been an unfortunate Buick trademark for many years. :(

    Now Buick needs to add just a bit more backseat legroom for the Regal and more speed.

    the front looks like a scaled-up Mercedes Benz CLA.
    the sides reminds me of the old Hyundai Azera
    only the rear-end that looks to be original for me..
    but anyhow i love its design over-all compared to its predecessor

      there are plenty of people worried about fuel, if you weren't, you would buy the Infiniti. not everyone needs a rocket ship.

      He does that, because he is a terrible horrible reviewer, one of the worst I've ever seen. He can't gather his thoughts, actually he is just not well prepared. Full of random thoughts, nothing clicks with this guy.

      mason methot Really? I'm surprised but that is your needs so nothing wrong with it. To me if mpg is you concern why not a Volt or Malibu Hybrid? I'm just honestly curious on you thoughts because clearly I was wrong with my statement. I guess why this car over other hybrids or more efficient cars? Again I'm not trying to be a jerk but rather actually understand because I am surprised by your answer. Thank you

      Happy15Panda I guess why this over a Lexus ES? Do you just find the Lexus styling ugly? Honestly just curious because I guess that would be the car in this segment I would get. Again that's just me so everyone is different
