One thing I forgot to mention in the video that I alway take is gallon size ziplock bags. I use them for everything. Taking wet bathing suits home, taking delicious truffles from the buffet to enjoy in the room later, taking home rose pedals from the bed, etc.

Carry on only is such a life saver. I truly wish more people knew how to do it! Being able to get off a plane, and just leave is the best feeling 😂😂. No standing around forever waiting for suitcases to come around a carousel, or finding out an airport lost your luggage

Great video on packing tips and tricks! I've seen so many requests for a packing video from you, and I'm glad you finally made one. Your approach of showing how you pack your carry-on without telling us what to pack is helpful because it allows us to adapt your methods to our own preferences. Your emphasis on planning outfits based on activities is excellent advice. Understanding what you'll be doing and packing accordingly can help save space. I also loved the idea of using a cup or other items for additional storage, like putting socks in a Yeti cup. Thank you for sharing your packing process and providing valuable tips. Is it an American thing? Washcloths to throw away, BYO plastic straws when clearly the area does not want them? 3 beach bags. The consumerism is on full blast here. A bit extra. Kind of off-putting. 😕

Enjoyed hearing your process and picked up a couple great tips for our first carry on only to Mexico! I do really, really love Cadence Capsules for toiletries- they are life changing. I also use contact cases for things like eye cream or other toiletries I will only need a very small amount of.
I love this. I pack the exact same way. Kinda extra, but everything with a purpose. We are going to pack in carry on only for our next trip and I’m a bit anxious about it. Watching this makes me feel a bit more prepared. I might try and sneak an extra 1 qt bag of liquids in my luggage too. 😬

I heard a phone charger too, bring a cordless one that you just lay your phone on. Someone said because of the same their plug in on the phone quit working.

Have you ever been in the situation where they insist on gate checking your carryon because they say there is no overhead space? But then there is still empty space once we all board. This has happened to us twice recently and it’s frustrating because we hate to check and we’re also not the last ones on the plane…you’d think they’d wait until there is actually no space before resorting to gate checking
No, but I always buy my seat in the front of the plane (main cabin extra or comfort plus). Be sure to never book basic economy, or else that will definitely happen. The only time I’ve had to gate check is if I’m taking a regional plane and the planes are smaller, and roller bags simply cannot fit.
I second this. The Only time they’ve made us gate check was when we flew to Secrets Huatulco

It honestly comes in handy to have nearly everything you’ll need while on the plane in one place! I add my AirPods in there as well, I just didn’t remember to say it since I don’t add those in until it’s time to go. The clear bags are great. They wash out pretty well too when something leaks or explodes. 😊

Can you bring razors in your carry on? For some reason I thought no? I'm cool with the liquid rule, it's always the razor that spooks me. So I just buy the pricy ones at the gift shop🙄

For the airlines I fly, yes. You’ll need to double check with yours. It will not fit on regional planes.

We steam everything & also bring downy wrinkle release- mostly just to freshen the scent from being packed.
