DoubleTree by Hilton reveals their signature chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Hi guys, a few weeks ago DoubleTree by Hilton revealed their signature chocolate chip cookie recipe. It’s available on their website but I made some adjustments to the sugar. Everything else remained the same though I recommend to chill the dough overnight or 24 hours before baking for a much better texture.
Recipe
227g unsalted butter
120g caster sugar
120g brown sugar
2 eggs
11/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp lemon juice
2 1/4 cups (270g) all purpose flour
1/2 cup (60g) rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
More for sprinkling before baking
2 2/3cup (420g) chocolate chips
1 3/4 cups (150g) chopped walnuts
Dough size 45g
Bake at 148c for 20-23 mins

I made these yesterday....it was super yummy. But my cookies is a bit more flat than yours and a bit oily. Not sure why....maybe I bake in a hot and humid climate. Next time I will cut down on butter.

try to put in the fridge before baking. this way it will spread less
