I read somewhere that the Ukrainian drone unit, Aerorozvidka, does around 300 missions a day, 24/7. The unit has been training for this war since 2014, so they're pretty good at it at this point.

Small drones are overpowered you can know exactly where the enemy is from above without risking a single soldier.
You can know their artillery positions, the direction tanks and trucks are moving and spot enemy infantry, all those benefits at the cost of a brand new cellphone.
Small drones have limited range.....I hope you know that...If an artillery position is 20 miles away, can the small drone be able to see that far and know the position of it related to where they are? I don't think so......

When the man in front showed the hand sign to move sideway, I really had palm sweating because of the drone sound, silence from surrounding area, bomb shelling sound, and fear of the enemy jumping out of nowhere. All of these just overwhelmed me. Can’t imagine being in the front line feel like. Hope you guys are safe and sound.

BBC’s Abdujalil Abdurasulov and his crew have balls! Civilian/consumer drones are proving useful in a way that the manufacturers probably never intended. Perhaps supplying the Ukrainian army with more drones and mobile batteries to charge the drone batteries would also be a good idea.

Very cool! Depending on the drones they use they can get a lot of range from them. My DJI Air2s has a range of around 7 miles and a flight time of 30 minutes. It also has a stabilized 5.1k camera (and a stabilized 4k camera at 60 fps). And it is super small and folds up and be hooked onto your belt.
These people are calm, agile and professional. And the journalist is very brave!

The mini 2 is one helluva drone and small enough to put in your pocket, super mobile and can easily go 4.5km in a scouting mission. Not sure what there using but that's what I'd use👍

I do think the Ukrainian camouflage attire is pretty good compared to the Russian's green attire to the current environmental conditions.
Its these tactics will help them win this war, and send them packing. The use of drones in this way is so effective, they're so small to detect, hardly able to be shot down. Knowing where to find your enemy is half the battle.

I thought about drones as a scout when Russia started the invasion. I would always carry drones with me for scout even the cheap drones. Heck, even Mexican cartel now uses commercial drones to scout and sometimes they attach bombs to drop on their drones.
It will be interesting to see what happens when one of the drug gangs eventually takes over the whole of Mexico and has to start running it as a country: like the warlords-turned-kings of old, such as the Vikings, Normans, Goths, etc.
They have drones that cost thousands but you could probably buy a lot of the cheap drones and rig them to be flying bombs
I also feel like the drones that are all coordinated could even be used to do stuff
