RS3 Slayer Monster Level 75 Gargoyles--One of My Favorites

Since Jungle Strykeworms don't spawn off-task, we're leaving those behind at level 73 to chat about gargoyles once you're 75 Slayer.
Bring your rock hammer, or toolbelt it and buy the killing blows quicker ability for 400 Slayer Points (best option). You'll have to have 75 Slayer to do that though.
Gargoyles are in the Chaos Tunnels, but I'm not going there. You can access them in Kuradel's Dungeon but only if you have a task.
Canifis Slayer Tower is the most convenient way to get at them.
Bring a gem bag, spring cleaner or alch runes, and water spells (or other spells seem to work too).
These are one of my favorite monsters in the game, mostly because of the salvage and gem drops.

I wonder if the knockout aura works with these?

The wiki does say it works on attacks made by the player.
The upgraded knockout aura is 15% hitpoints, while the regular one is 10%.
But, since the finisher threshold for hitpoints on gargoyles is 1005, that's 15% of their max.
Since I haven't tried it yet, I don't know.
The regular one wouldn't I don't think. But for the upgraded one, I'm not sure if the Aura or finisher would take priority.
I'm guessing the finisher if you have the auto-smash unlocked.
If you don't have auto you may be able to use the aura for a little bit.
