    Really is one of the best values HF sells. They do hold up over the years. Cool video

    Why cut the new one? That’s pretty dumb considering the old one was already damaged

    I’m just wondering why you didn’t come all the way through. This video was pretty satisfying either way.

    Thanks for the video but why in the sam hill did ya cut the new one up? I woulda replaced the used one.
    Real question tho, was the shot inside steel or lead?

    I guess if I tried to fault the hammer I would say the rubber compound is pretty hard compared to premium brands and they don’t seem to last as long hitting sharper surfaces. Can’t beat the price and so many companies slap a name on this particular model ie Tekton, Stanley, Graintex, Stark, Jegs etc.

      Yeah, I'm sure you're right most of the lower brands are made about the same.

      If you want a good dead blow hammer try trusty cook or ABC hammers both USA made. They are the ones making all the dead blows for SK, matco, mac. Snap on makes there own but are also double the price but they are the very best and the only company that will warranty them from normal wear and tear.

    What’s the ideal weight one should look for when shopping at harbor freight. They have a good sized selection at mine and I couldn’t decide what weight to purchase

    Will a rubber mallet do the same as a deadblow?

    • @stealthanator88
      @stealthanator88 3 роки тому +1

      The point of the deadblow is to reduce the bounce back from hammering anything you need to the steel or lead shot or sand inside shifts so when you hit something there's no bounce back. so no a rubber mallet won't really do the same thing

      @@stealthanator88 In fact a rubber mallet does more or less the opposite, with a great tendency to 'bounce' back after each blow.
