I only discovered this wonderful transcription yesterday (how could I not have known about it) and I haven't been able to stop listening to it. What better combination could one find - Bach and Rachmaninoff. Now I've just found your channel with you playing it, and what a fantastic performance to give. Your are a superb pianist. You transported me to heaven! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us.
I've always been in love with this Rachmaninoff transcription, and delighted to see your new version pop up on youtube, which has become my new favourite! Beautiful instrument, beautiful recording, and -- most of all -- exquisite playing. Thank you!
Thank you very much! :)))
Great performance! Sparkles like Champagne!
Thank you very much! :)))
This piece is a BEAST. The technical demands on the pianist are relentless. (I've played it: I know.) I especially like the supreme control with which she plays this piece. It is a highly polished, impeccable performance. BRAVO!
Very well played and touching. Thanks!
Thank you very much!!!
Miss Juurikas, you are a fantastic pianist! Thank you for this interpretation! And please, post other videos for let we know what are you playing in these days!
Thank you very much! I will post soon more! :)))
I just discovered this; it's one of my favorite pieces and I'm writing a novel in which this piece has a particular scene. I never knew there was such a beautiful transcription to the piano, and much less such a wonderful interpretation. Thank you! My inspiration for the novel has gained quite a boost tonight.
Thank you so much, dear Juan! I wish you a lot of inspiration! :)
Excellent execution! How can I buy this album? I went to the page but it's in a language I don't understand, and Apple Music doesn't show this album. What options can I have? I am in Mexico. Thank you very much for your reply. 😃🙏
Apart from a slight lack of legato (which this Steinway obviously requires a good deal of, although otherwise it sounds like a very good instrument for Bach and very suitable for polyphonous music) this is a most lovely performance of Rachmaninov´s demanding adaptations

Rachmaninoff!
Brilliant, Maestra!
Bravo! This was a wonderful transcription of one of my favorite pieces that only Rachmaninoff could do justice. You captured the beauty and depth of it perfectly. Out of all the composers, Bach is the one that describes the harmony of the universe for me.
JSB is the most universal of all composers: there is no greater compliment and no compliment doing him more justice than his universality
i love tour way of playing it seems so natrual and buetiful. thise is my favorite versione of thise piece
Thank You very much for your kind words! :)
Как и всегда - Агекене - большая умница, и в творчестве и в жизни!!!
🥰😘
what a gem :)
POR FAVOR ,,, REGÁLAME UNA COPIA DE LA PARTITURA,,,, !!!!!
Absolutely stunning
Thank you very much! :)
What in the hell is happening with UA-cam? I keep getting a "error"!
Dear Ms. Juurikas
I would like to say your interpretation of this piece is absolutely and marvelously musical. I do play this piece as well. I have for many years been a Rachmaninov fan and often play much of his music.....he's one of the rare composers that really move me. He was really a great composer, pianist and apparently an excellent orchestral conductor. Again, Thank you Ms. Juurikas and many blessings to you.
Thank You very much dear Ronnie! Rachmaninoff has always been my very favourite as well! :)
Rachmaninov had no easy life and went through great ordeals and sacrifices but the music which he left us is a priceless heritage ...
Superb! Pure ecstasy to my ears.
I think all that white gleaming off the piano would drive me nuts and I couldn't play. LOL! I've never played on anything but ebony-finished pianos...or at least very dark finishes. The white is very unusual. Nonetheless, the Maestra's performance here was mesmerizing. I loved it! And that beautiful smirk at the end!
The white finish does it for me, it makes the music sound more brightly somehow, or is it a coincidence?
Your playing deserves the piano.
The only thing more sensational than the piano is the performance! bravo.
Thank you for kind words! :)

Rachmaninoff!
very emotional, musical and beautiful!
Wonderful Pianist and Woman
Brava!
Do you know if Tachmaninov just transcripted thes 3 movements form the 3rd partita or the whole 3 partitas?
Thank you! Yes, it's just 3 movements from partita by Rachmaninoff.
Indeed he did: a deep reverence by Rachmaninov to the great JSB and what endless pity he did not write more because his transcriptions are so masterful and so pianistic
I've been locked down for 13 weeks because of Coronavirus. Thanks for this upload, it's beautiful!
Beautiful!
You are genius
I think Bach would have loved this - both the transcription and this brilliant performance!
the original gavotte is so pure and perfect that not even rachmaninoff could improve it. playing it following the original score, even on piano, nothing is better
Very well played, thank you very much to post this video! I love listen the transcriptions of the all-time greatest composers! That inspire me a lot!!
fantastica

Rachmaninoff!
Having heard 2 other pianists' versions , I think this slightly steadier tempo allows more of the majesty of Bach's music to come out
It is true, there are many good performances, purely technically spoken, however it is the steady and solid tempo that nails it, just like here
Age has an understanding of how to bring Rakhmaninov's emotionality to Bach's spirituality and impeccable structure. I have not heard a more beautiful interpretation of this lyrical piece. In my opinion, that is.
Brilliant.
Rachmaninoff lui meme aurait apprécie cette interprétation; a mon sens la plus belle des autres interprétations modernes...
Merci beaucoup!!! :)
Maybe we'll all
make it thru ,
t
real happiness,
all togethr . .

Very emotional pieces. Thank you for sharing this Ms. Juurikas!
Großartig ! Danke für dieses wunderbare Spiel !
Incredible. Love the expression at the end.
Thanks a lot! :)))
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Not just a little bit. All of it.
Ha, ha, ha!!! What planet did this piece come from? There's no words for this.
Thank you for the performance.
It came from the most musical of all planets called "Bachmaninov" ;-)
PS: May we already preorder your Bach-CD ?
정말 잘 친다. what a beautiful perfomance!!
Thank you!
Excellent perfomance!
🎹 👌🏼
That half smile at the end is priceless...
beautiful
Thank You!
Brava!
beautiful!
Спасибо что ты радуешь нас!!!
Beautiful interpretation, beautiful player...
THANKS
Thank you very much!!! :)
Beautiful piece and top performance!
Thank you so much! :)))
I agree especially with how she plays the part from 5:38 until 6:12.
this transcription of the Prelude would sound so fking awesome on
Moogs
switched on style
that white steinway looks crazy
what is that pink or red detailing near the keys?
and funny never heard this on piano. used to play this suite on classical guitar lol
The red detail near the keys is felt, which serves the function of dampening the sound of the wooden keys hitting the piano
So funny that you should say this but honestly: white grand pianos seem to be perfect for Bach´s music or adaptations of his music like this one, maybe the colour really DOES make a difference ...
