Listening to this dribble at first I laughed, then I cried. It was originally founded as the political wing of the trade union movement, at a time when voting rights did not extend to many working people (the right to vote was based on the ownership of property). Sadly, over the last few decades, the Labour Party has become the home of deranged 'muh victimhood' crybabies, soyboy cucks, ultra-left feminazis, and all the the other assorted oddballs who are wrecking the Democrat party over in the States. Sad, really, but thank fuck they're not the government - if that ever happens, the UK is officially over.

How is this a major party? Does no one in the UK pay attention to their politicians?
Unfortunately the UK is being dragged down with the cult of feels!
The short and only answer is 'no'.
A big part of the problem is that people are not taught about our political system so simply don't know how to interact with it beyond shouting at the tv and ticking a box every now and then. There's even less interaction at the local level primarily because people are at work when things are happening and it never gets reported on.
These people hijacked a major party which was once the party of the labour unions, then became a centrist corporotist party (like the Dems from the 90s). It was the party of Tony Blair who was very popular (at least at the beginning). But because people vote tribally there are still a lot of normy working class voters who vote for them because they always have. People are slowly realizing what they have become though and this party is dying. The leader is the most unpopular leader of any party in the UK with approx a 20% approval rate and a 70+% disapproval.
Brexit however may of saved us since those normy working class types do care about brexit and are mostly leavers and this party is a party of hard remainers. Hence a lot of what were once this parties base are turning away from it. Thank god.
(edit) These are the same AOC types who are trying to hijack the Democrats in the states. Only here they have succeeded.
They've been commandeered. It started when a bunch of socialists signed up as Labour Party members after Corbyn announced he was running as leader so they could vote for him. The centre left have been made politically homeless as a result.
It has only gotten this bad in the last few years.
But yes, people in the UK don't really pay attention to politics.
