My fiancé committed suicide almost 2 years ago. I still haven’t recovered from it. He and I would always go snorkeling in Maui together. to people calling this "trash"...what makes it trash, exactly? give specifics. both the original and this cover are good in their own ways. MGK brings his own style and it still feels heartfelt and authentic, which is the whole point.

to people calling this "trash"...what makes it trash, exactly? give specifics. both the original and this cover are good in their own ways. MGK brings his own style and it still feels heartfelt and authentic, which is the whole point.
I personally don't feel any emotion or energy from MGK. The style isn't something I'm fond of either but that's more of my own personal taste.
It just doesn't fit for me. MGK doing this is like Ariana covering Mask Off or Kendrick covering All About That Bass. It don't work. A lot of the comments are praising the lyrics when it came from Frank.
