He personalized the cover as he should! Otherwise if you make exactly the same song what's the purpose..?! I listen to the original. He made his own version and added some amazing verses!
I think some of the criticism is pretty fair. Especially the criticism around his voice being monotone...if you cut the production back as far as he did here, atleast have the voice to carry the song.
