This is the content that deserves more views. Being in 🇿🇦, I often feel saddened by my lack of knowledge of any of our closest neighbours cultures and having people who record this rich knowledge, like you, gives me joy. Thank you for your contribution to preserving our collective history
Thank you so much for watching. I will try and make more of these.
Maria speaks Oshindonga so well🔥
So proud of you girl😍
I really love how Maria Nepembe is proud of her culture. She is so real and serious when it comes to her tradition unlike how some UA-camrs act like they no nothing about their culture all because they are living in Windhoek and all that. Some even forget that they schooled in the village. But the fact is Maria is a true proud oshiwambo woman who has no time to act for content. I can see that she is being herself and as well teaching us some cultural duties. Thank you so much Maria Nepembe🙏🏿❤.
So true she made me love my culture even more she has so much pride in her own culture 💓
I wish celebrities were humble and family oriented like Maria.others hide their relatives and only floant the rich from the city.I love this content ❤️❤️❤️
Not me having an assignment about oshiwambo weddings so I have to come back here and watch again..... thank u Ria ❣️
This was so so lovely to watch, Maria you are a special being... I love your energy and attitude towards life..
maria is soo talented and she wrapps up everything soo accurate ...
Wow the Oshiwambo women traditional attire is similar to that of BaPedi women from South Africa 🇿🇦, also the wedding preparations have some similarities like putting up the white flag to announce the wedding. I loved this vlog 💕
This was so wholesome. The happiness🥺. You guys really made it beautiful for her. And her brother was so happy and had tanena for her nawa muuhn❤️.
It was such a blast
This was beautiful to learn and watch. Enjoyed how you properly explained what everything was and why it was happening. Our african cultures are so similar and we should keep showing more of it👏👏
Culture is so important... This is so educational and beautiful as well.
I love the way you guys love each other
❤❤

Families are at war with each other this days. Maria’s family are really blessed and peaceful with each other.
wow Maria you are truly blessed with a big family . I enjoyed this video so much
This is definately the content I signed up for 👏👏👏 It was beautiful to watch, soooo authentic and informative. Oondonga announcements are so different from uukwanyama once, us kwanyama's only put up one flag polupale (can't find an English word for it) and that's it, whilst Ndonga's put up two🤔
Wooow, thank you so much for sharing, and for elaborating in details about our culture. Wishing your cousin all the best in her Matrimony. Shiliko oshamshila gwa kaandje, kaandje Naye mwene okushishi💕💕Love you Maria
Thank you for sharing Maria Nepembe. This is beautiful and reminds me of back home. I hope you will also film the wedding itself 😊
Beautiful content ❤️, keep it up . we enjoyed the wedding, may God bless their union 🙏🏽.

This is beautiful ❤️
I sometimes forget you are Omuwambo too. What a beautiful event ❤️❤️
White flag in old days symbolize that the bride is still Pure ( still a virgin) and she doesn’t have a Kid …. But since things have changed one people use it now to symbolize that there’s a wedding in the house….. and the reason why people sit/ wait in the trees it’s because ohango oha yiyi megumbo omizile inaadhi galuka… ☺️☺️☺️
How come nobody told me this?? 😭😭😭😭😭
@@marianepembe just ask those elders that are really good at oshiwambo… they will explain it better … and also don’t forget to ask about the white bedding that people puts on the day a bride is coming to sleep on the grooms house , the day lyo kaandja mumati….
And another thing is olukula every clan has its own tree where they take theirs…you can not be omukwanekamba then toka gwayekwa molukula lwaa kwanangombe
You are right Juliana the part of the flag I strongly agree with you.
