This one is just a regular civilian Akubra. I used this one for 1984 Recondo GI JOE. I did have an original 1950s Australian military hat, but it was stolen.
Well because weather you like it or not he's the character most known for wearing it that way. Same thing as the red fabric sweatband on the forhead wasn't done first by Rambo but it's iconic as his regardless.
