@sharonstewart4882 she only gave Bridget life because she thought Bridget was ridges otherwise she would have been to a doctor real quick to get rid of her 🤭
I'm so sickened by Brooke and Bridget's talk. Brooke is using her best line" we have been through so much" when it was all pain only for Bridget. .It is so unfair for Bridget, it's like " now we are even let's hug and go on" pretending Brooke has never had a daughter from Bridget s husband.
Yes, and this was clearly Bell's intention. Now that Brooke and Bridget are supposedly even, we can all move on and forget about that one time when Brooke had a baby with her daughter's husband.
I'd love to know what, exactly, Brooke has been through. She has ownership of Eric's company, and has been forgiven for everything she has ever done, including sleeping with and having a child by her daughter's husband. Macy needs to tell Brooke to hold her beer. Only thing she's been thru is Eric and his 2 sons (and nobody can convince me that Ridge isn't Eric's son).
I can’t decide what was harder to watch, Bridget begging for forgiveness from the woman who had her daughters husband for how much she hurt” her, or Nick being so arrogant and self righteous that feels comfortable confronting his boss (who he barely knows) about his relationship with 2 women he barely knows and ordering him to stay away from them?
Bridgit even talking to her mother and equating 2 kisses with Ridge with her mother having an affair and baby with her husband had me downright 🤮 It is almost as 🤮 as bridgit and Ridge itself.
Nick is "just looking out for Brooke and Bridget." He is a virtual stranger to them. If some guy I just met felt like he should "look out for" me, I would find that creepy. Bell is once again trying to make these new characters relevant and only succeeds in making them inauthentic.
Literally.. He doesn't know anything about them. Who gave him the back story? Like you said, feels like they have been watching the show and then came in to talk about it. I could more see Sally and Clarke or Sally and Macy having this convo.
Brooke never in a million years thought she and Bridget would go through something like this (7:30). Didn't she have an affair, and a baby with Bridget's son in law?
“Get out. You have no business in this office. You certainly have no business commenting on my life.” Well, it’s come to this. Nick Payne is so inappropriate he’s made *Ridge Forrester* the voice of reason and propriety.
@@annieo6527 Echoing @Faye, I LOVE your observation that Nick & Jackie are more like commenters than characters. That really nails it! And you see it in the first interaction with Stephanie and Jackie. They've JUST met and yet Jackie is talking to her in an overly familiar way about her marriage. Just consider how Bill Bell would've handled that. It would've been months of Jackie working with Eric and Stephanie becoming suspicious of their relationship and the tension growing between the two women, a little awkwardness here a barbed line there _culminating_ in that confrontation at the beach house.
@@NewYorkNick0607 thank you! ♥️ And, although "meta characters" can work in a fictional context that is _supposed_ to be self-aware and break the fourth wall, a soap needs to feel "real" in order for us to care about these people's lives. So Nicky and Jackie actually damage the entire texture of the show because they make us take everything about it less seriously. It becomes a parody of a soap rather than an actual soap. A strong Storyteller like Stephanie can afford a certain amount of meta awareness, but Nicky and Jackie have done nothing to earn this position because they haven't actually _lived_ the plot. They give the impression of having watched the _show._
Where did "Dr Mark" go, his short appearance in the show, what good did it do, him showing up as CJ ' s half brother and being interesting in Bridget for a while, then gone with the wind
Right. They didn't even try to give him a proper storyline after seeing his father for the first time since he was a baby. I honestly thought that's where they were going with the character's introduction. But the writers really miss every opportunity for actual story telling, bc they want it all to be about Brooke and what man she will sleep with next.
They are trying to make us believe the unbelievable : that Brooke is so beautiful that she immediately had men falling for her. The fact that the first time nick met Brooke, she came into Ridge's office in lingerie... Should tell him all he needs to know about her
I actually seem to think Brooke is better with anyone BUT Ridge, always felt that way! Not sure who I thought was best for her, there have been a few, cant recall them all!! But for me, I thought she was best with Bill and then probablly Nick !
In this episode , we see another side of Brooks office, and as i remember, when she and Kimberly have a fight, there was a window. And now there is a wall 😅
Bridgit should have zero explanations to Brooke... Other than : I didn't mean for any of this to happen. And then go on with her day. Brooke doesn't care one iota about bridgit and her feelings. She just is emotionally blackmailing her bc she knows her daughter isn't vindictive (as Brooke herself said) and she knows how malleable bridgit is.
@TriniT21 My family is mostly from Haiti But we do have some Jamaicans, Puerto Ricans and Guyanese who married into the family among other nationalities. I have a few close friends who are from Trinidad and I must say nobody can make callaloo the way a Trini can make it. My friend puts coconut cream add Scotch bonnet pepper 🌶️ in hers and it is so delicious
@JanetWashington-ph6dz your fam sounds like an awesome bunch! I'm Trini (hence my nickname lol) and yeah.. We know good food 😂. I lived in Jamaica for a few years as well for school. But I have so many friends from all over the Caribbean.. I love everything about us as Caribbean ppl!
Massimo extolling Brooke's virtues to Jackie : she's (apparently) beautiful, vital, intriguing... He forgot to add : and she can pop out a baby for any man, except for Ridge, like nobody's business. Meanwhile, did nick call Brooke "loyal"??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Oh boy, is he gonna find out..
This was clearly the whole purpose of the Ridge/Bridget mess. Now that Brooke and Bridget have both been romantically. involved with each other's men (and let's pretend that two kisses are the same as five lovemaking sessions and a baby), they can forgive _each other_ and move past this, so that Brooke will no longer have to carry the burden of having done the unforgivable to her own daughter. All is well that ends well... for Brooke. 🙄
Right. One does not equate to the other and I don't know why the writers think it does. And I'd like to say, if they really wanted to have Brooke somewhat redeemable as a mother (and general human being), they'd have shown her caring more about how her relationship with Bridgit has been negatively affected by all her years of 🗑️ parenting, leading up to that affair with Deacon. She should have gone to therapy with Bridgit to help repair their relationship, the same way she dragged Steph to a therapist under the guise of wanting a better relationship.
And Bridget being so apologetic🙄. Why is she grovelling to her mother for forgiveness for two kisses, when she should be calling her out on her hypocrisy?
Brooke: "You're my daughter. I carried you. I gave you life..."
Yeah and then you carried and gave life to her husband's baby. 🥴
gOD GAVE bRIDGET LIFE
@sharonstewart4882 she only gave Bridget life because she thought Bridget was ridges otherwise she would have been to a doctor real quick to get rid of her 🤭
Brooke really trying to pull the "mommy" card with Bridgit after sleeping with her husband?? 😐

A mother and daughter should never be torn in between lovers:
- first Deacon;
- now Ridge;
- then Nick.

That paint by numbers portrait of Ridge is hilarious. Might as well have used Etch a Sketch.

It's like Amber all over again 😂
I have a feeling Nick Payne was only introduced as an avatar for Brad Bell so he could step into the show and tell his characters what to do.

Nick thinks Brooke is “a good woman” and “loyal”? For the sake of the Pacific Fleet, I sure hope he’s a better sailor than he is a judge of character.
"This is a good boat. Steady. Reliable" will be Captain Nick's famous last words.
@@annieo6527😂
The entire Pacific Fleet is probably familiar with Brooke as well.
Brooke is not a good woman
