This guy is an absolutely excellent instructor. Best I've ever seen by a mile. Lots of patience. Best way to teach someone is by patience and commendation, rather than criticism. My niece won't even go in the car with my brother in law anymore because he's too critical, he scared her. (Inadvertently).
Hey Pin, really appreciate the videos. It's great how you drill these skills with your pupils rather than just doing it a couple of times in a lesson, this is how I like to learn, too.
@@kspades2530 after 10 hours (getting used to pedals etc) treat every session as a mock session focus and watch videos when you don't understand something e.g gear shifting etc
I think it's a good idea to flip the back camera video since that's what drivers will actually see in the center mirror, rather than the original footage
I think a pen a paper diagram might help learners visualise what they need to be doing as they enter and navigate a large roundabout in terms of changng lanes when they are actually on the round about.
Mr DGN, Conquer Driving has a very valid video on why handbraking at every stop is not a good idea. In mainland Europe we don't advise this either. I think you should look into this, seems very silly and time-consuming to use the handbrake at brief stops
Episode eight now❤ Hopefully she passes her uk theory test at least next month or March before her college end of school year exam tests start 😊 Yes this is my advice for phoebe and pin reading this. if i don’t pass this year, the quota is even more real. 😮😅
When exiting the roundabout, what if its not safe to move over to the left but theres only one lane at your exit? Do you just keep going round the round about?
If there’s only one lane on the exit, you should already be in that lane or the lane your in “should” merge you in that one. Say your taking third exit right, you would start in the right hand lane and after the second exit the road markings “should” put you in the correct lane to exit. I don’t know what every roundabout is like but the ones near me spiral you out to the correct lane.
@@jb0781 unfortunately not all roundabouts spiral And too many people emerge too quickly behind you from between the first and second exit, so even if you indicate the millisecond you are passing the second exit, someone is already blocking your transition to the left. Happens a lot to me where dual carriageways meet roundabouts and they fly in to the outer lane while you’re passing on the inner lane
@@Mackieee I thought as much, thankyou for the info il be careful when in areas I don’t know. I’d probably go back around like the others said in that situation.

Phoebe is getting there a few more lessons and she will be test ready. I'm impressed on her progress only a few lessons and she is this standard
Just passed my test today, these videos and other driving videos really helped me grow as a driver.
Well done and keep refreshing

@@kyle1942 Hi i know this was 6 months ago you say you passed with only 10 hours? Impressive,
Lets go Phoebe... you got this. Amazing content as always
This is a great watch for me as a PDI. Thanks .

I’ve been driving 47 years and I STILL find roundabouts the hardest part of driving.
I passed in Europe 24 years ago and I’m now driving in the UK, roundabouts drive me nuts *lol*

All I can say is, you're a great teacher. Wouldn't call you instructor anymore.
Do you have to put indicator on when you going to third or fourth exit? Also do you have to put inductor if you are going to 2nd right?

Hey. What kind of camera you use? Any external mic?
After this driving lesson Phoebe probably dreamed of roundabouts 😅
When exiting the roundabout, what if its not safe to move over to the left but theres only one lane at your exit? Do you just keep going round the round about?
Yeah imo that’s the only safe thing to do at that point

if it's ever unsafe to move back to the left abandon and go back around, as long as you signal right again. You're good.

Were you able to book another test?
@@DGNDrivingyes I did it’s this Friday I got it after 6 months wait that’s what makes failing 10 times worse.
Who put that bag there?
Yo Pin, what happened with Josh, are you still driving with him?
She’s indicating to early like if she’s comeing off at the 3rd exit she’s indicating as if she’s comeing off at the 2nd exit
Phoebe vs Erin 👀🤔
A DGN Driving and Clearview Driving Collab/Mock Test Competition?
only 2 more years till i can drive.....
It's obvious she's a good learner
what is her last name
She shouldn't be driving if she has no clue what shes doing
You mean she shouldn't be taking lessons? If she's learning how to drive?
How are you supposed to learn? 😂
It's called learning the functionality of the car
