Junior year of high school choir, we were on tour during spring break (back then called "Easter vacation") in Colorado. We made an unscheduled stop at the Air Force Academy chapel and spontaneously decided to sing the Lacrimosa from Mozart's "Requiem" (a capella). We'd always performed in school auditoriums and lots of other places where the acoustics were, umm, less than optimal. In a venue like that, though, it was an experience of a lifetime. Even more than 50 years later, I remember 100-plus kids practically reduced to tears as the final "amen" reverberated through the empty building. It was a magical musical moment.

I wonder how Eddy's spine is still intact in one piece with all of his weird postures when he's sitting or standing. He tends to bend his body in various directions. It would be amazing if he didn't suffer a massive back pain at all. If he wasn't a violinist, I'm sure he could be a ballerina or a K-pop dancer. His body's as flexible as a cat's. Wow, Brett can play the timpani!!! It's pretty cool! He is so good with the rhythm. Eddy vs flute. He looked like he was dying there. Poor him.

This is bringing back memories of when our youth orchestra got to zoom call with Brett and eddy!! The two of them really put in so much to encourage the younger generation of musicians!! It’s awesome! Thank you twoset :))))))))
It's the bestie encouragement for me "Come on dude, you know this!" "I know this?"
The kids are all AMAZING! Eddy and Brett did really good at the soloist part. WOW!
You wanna see something ADORABLE?!? Brett's face while playing the timpani
The gremlin face 🤣
It was so cute I was searching for it in the comment section 🤣🤣🤣 I also had a flashback of Nyango Star episode 🤣🤣🤣
Everyone in that orchestra was amazing! Huge props! 👏🏻 And the conductor seemed like a really awesome dude
That second game just demonstrates how much they practiced lmao
As a flute player of 22 years, I genuinely had tears streaming down my face during Eddy's final challenge*. Exquisite. Brilliant. Stunning. Bravo Eddy, bravo.
*... from laughing. I'm still laughing. And now my face hurts.
Thank you for the video guys!
That flute playing was epic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That one kid almost fell from his chair when they walked in, well I would act the same tho
The conductor seems like an exceedingly chill dude. Wish I had someone like him back in my school days, prolly would have kept playing.
The conductor did such an amazing job with guiding them through all the weird things they wouldn't normally do!
Hats off to Editor san, they even squeezed in Haydn Surprise symphony before Brett and Eddy showed up :O
What makes these videos so good is how playing in an orchestra is not usually a playful moment but rather concentrated and serious. Seeing this creative games give such a interesting twist to the whole thing. I love it!!!
ngl Eddy looks like a professional cellist and let's not forget to mention how adorable and innocent Brett looks at 15:41 - 15:43 🥺😭✋🏻❤️✨ lots of love for their amazing contents!
imagine someone who couldn't practice that day
"what did i miss?"
"well..."
16:24 PLEASE BRETT'S REACTION WAS TOO FUNNY BAHFBJABFDJFJ
Yeah
the editing is spot on mate, crazy how much you guys have grown, looking forward to Brett's 4 mil Mendelssohn drop
Can you imagine if Brett could perform with an orchestra like this one for his Mendelssohn ? That would be awesome...
@@MissTwoSetEncyclopedia I think they have to really consider it, that would be so freaking good
I was kinda hoping they pulled a Mendelssohn on Brett during his round to see his reaction when they played Mendelssohn Concerto
@@eliasgc49 sameee i wish they did! i’d love to get some spoilers of his interpretation
Thats a lot of repertoire for a youth symphony. Well done.
Officially got into PSU School of Music to teach Music Education. Thanks Brett and Eddy for helping keep my passion for music alive!
Congratulations, best wishes ! 😊💕
Congrats! 😊
Way to go! Congratulations!
Wow! You, me and thousands of us out here are indebted to these guys one way or another, in many cases helping to lift depression. Congrats from me too...
As a flute player, watching Eddy try and play the flute was a eardrum destroying moment, but also hilarious. I guess the key bit is air control and the shape of your mouth, I have always been told mine looks like a owl beak, so I guess that helps if you ever try it again xD you did amazing for a beginner though
When Brett started playing... here goes our soloist! Thanks for all the effort you guys put into this! I hope you had fun!
What an absolutely INCREDIBLE orchestra to be able to just pop off the variety of intense Classical music. Thoroughly impressed and well done!
Poor him.
This is officially my favorite TwoSet video.
I feel like even though they are playing games, there are times when Twoset look like proud dads, appreciating the playing of these young musicians; there are times when they seem to walk down the memory lane and probably remembered themselves when they are in the youth orchestra; also there are times when they just enjoy the music and have fun. It's just, beautiful. I love this episode so much OMG!!!
The soloist part is mindblowing 🙈I love it!💕
The 1st 2 games kinda proves/ confirms Eddy’s preference for symphonic/ orchestral works and Brett’s preference for concertos
15:05 love how the conductor singled out Eddy 😂😂
The conductor is so expressive and talented.
That bassoon player cracking up the whole time and their heart at the end, those guys have the kind of energy I need in my life lol
Lucky kids! The orchestra also got to play with Ray Chen 2 days ago!
God I love these guys. They're talented, kind, charismatic, super entertaining...the list goes on and on
Eddy faking the flute is much better than most dramas 😂😂
Light hearted , funny, and educational! You get it all from these two guys
imagine being in rehearsal and suddenly brett and eddy just emerge
I loved how much fun Brett was having on the Timpani :D
12:08 Brett's late entry 😩😳
Eddy: French Horn 🤓🤣
The video is ✨GOLD✨!! I was alternating between laughing my lungs out and getting goosebumps from Twoset’s solo pieces. Hope to see Brett and Eddy play with an orchestra as soloists some day, even if it’s only for a special project☺️!
