I mean, it can’t always be that chaotic music, just look at all the most recent racing games, most of them contain music that parallels what’s popular at the moment. That’s why you hear less rock nowadays and more Hip Hop/Pop
Thing is that's not true, because all of the old nfs games had a huge variety of different kinds of songs. It wasn't just hip hop and rock. The fundamental reality is that people no longer make music because its a passion. Instead they'll pump out heaps of rubbish for the sake of money. Not all of course, but majority. Essentially the bottom line is that values have changed drastically over the past 20 years.
It's about song choices, there are songs rn that could perfectly fit a racing game (from the same genres of unbound music). It seems like they just randomly picked popular songs and called it a day.
This game is peak chaos and love it,this was the first NFS i enjoyed the most post completion, having fun in online and breaking any kind of record possible with people

160 mph feeling like 60
bro nfs rivals was on another level, like once my heat is like 7 i look for the nearest safehouse lol
Just lead the cops to a gas station and farm takedowns
Rivals is fun until the one player joins as a cop with an overpowered car and one shots you every time you spawn in as a racer
The Lo-Fi revolution and it's consequences...
I was waiting for him to show a picture of Mike Pence when playing Mine Benz or however you spell it😂
this is the first time I'm listening to nfs unbound music... wtf bro
Drum and bass should be mandatory in any racing game
I mean, it can’t always be that chaotic music, just look at all the most recent racing games, most of them contain music that parallels what’s popular at the moment. That’s why you hear less rock nowadays and more Hip Hop/Pop
huh
what if
we revive it as ppl revived MGR?
@@pablon4585 exactly!
@@dennisbakumenko7363 >:) we have a new objective lads
It's about song choices, there are songs rn that could perfectly fit a racing game (from the same genres of unbound music). It seems like they just randomly picked popular songs and called it a day.
This game is peak chaos and love it,this was the first NFS i enjoyed the most post completion, having fun in online and breaking any kind of record possible with people
I still say that NFS Rivals was the last NFS to have a great soundtrack, my favorite there still remains to be Trouble and Conquistador
Rivals remains to be my third favorite right after HP2 and HP2010, and still remains like that
If only playing as a racer didn’t mean having an instant death sentence
Yeah Rivals, most wanted 2012, and nfs 2015, where the last nfs games with a truly great soundtrack! It went downhill so fast after that! Payback was mid garage themes were ok tho, heat was god awful, and unbound is eh, there's only like 3 songs that I actually like.
@@Razorstolemycar ngl I never remembered any of the tracks from 2015
@@ryon5174It's mostly techno and edm stuff. But if you're into that then this soundtrack is for you! After playing unbound for like a few weeks and then hoping back into 2015 i was blown away by how good the soundtrack was!
@@Razorstolemycar to be fair my recollection of NFS2015 was that I somehow was never able to hear the music despite being on full volume - I still think I’m fine with EDM, given the majority of Rivals’ soundtrack
NFS Unbound should’ve brought back the atmosphere of NFS Rivals with the soundtrack from MW. Hell, maybe NSF Unbound could’ve borrowed from The Crew (1) and add a Police DLC where we could bust racers as Cross.
Nfs rivals deserves remastered!
One of my favourite NFS games of all time.
Abstract art soundtrack
Nfs rivals be like:
3 cops on the tail, okaay fine
6+ cops on the tail, OOOHHH FFU***@#$#$
(hardcore drum n bass kiks in!!!)
This game is very beautiful in my opinion,& I Love The Soundtracks & It Depends On Your Taste.
Everyone gangster till nsf the run comes up the the menu soundtrack
now i wonder asking what she said 0:01
Something in some African tribal language
I love how the Pagani constantly looks surprised.
How did some NFS soundtrack becoming worse? At least, some of them are fine.
NFS Unbound: Somebody say, "Hey! We want some money!"!
NFS Heat: Ah, wanna die, wanna die. But don't really wanna die. You were there, you would care. Making me aware. Every scar, all the blood. More and more, they're never done. Not enough, not enough.
NFS Rivals: (dubstep remix / electro rock noises)
Imo heat soundtrack was ok I liked the tu manera cuz the singer is from my country:)
But I "put" songs about depression and suicide in Need for Speed: Heat, so that's okay for a soundtrack fan to IDK.
At least, hip-hop is my country. No Filipino.
NFS Undercover : At age 17 addicted to ink, a rap fiend who had money dreams, my taste of fame couldn't compare to what I'd seen
Them dying, government lying', all for that paper cheese
NFS Unbound : ICE_CrEAmUuuu.mp4, some inaudible random arabic/indian song
Meanwhile, in NFS Heat: Ah, wanna die, wanna die. But don't really wanna die.
Rivals was my first ever Need For Speed Game that the fact that i called it the " N GAME" as a kid asking my dad, because i loved cars and racing and it ran perfectly on my windows 8. I still play this game to this day.
nfs Rivals❤️
that's the reason i listen to my playlists while playing new racing games.
ik that criterion tried to shove in the popular genre of today, but like actually try to put something that fits the high adrenaline of racing or actually stop trying and just put fucking metal, rock, electronic like gran turismo does lol
Rivals is easily my favorite nfs game, i loved just driving around the open world, if felt so alive, i could drive most anywhere on memory alone and the gameplay was stressful as shiiiiit
In rivals you are shitting yourself
In unbound you go take a shit
The sense of speed was muwah and the cops were a constant threat, in unbound i outrun them by accident, in rivals i am desperately trying to avoid roadblocks and the cops, praying that there is a gas station nearby so i can restock abilities and health, i have ptsd for the words "Vehicle damage critial" and the last race of rivals, the round the map endurance race is sooooo much fun, the cops are a presence, i also love the fact you get more choice, with unbound the checkpoints are very linear gates, sometimes you can choose between 2 gates and thats it, in rivals, you can aproach a checkpoint basically any way you want to, run up a massive ass ramp, go off road next to it, the choice js so good, easily my favorite open world racer
