This will always remind me of feeling, when you're opening new horizons for yourself. Such a unique theme that gives feelings of thinking about future and living in it, while looking for new adventures and opening new horizons for yourself. 2011-2014 as a whole period was absolutely unique, especially in videogames, and especially in soundtracks like this one. Nothing else gives that much vibe of this whole period which will be 10 years old next year. Though it is charming still to listen this nowadays. But it always will take a special place in my heart reminding some of the coolest times that were ignored completely, just as 2015-2016.
Sadly this is only an unpopular opinion... I loved it as well but damn people should not stick to the roots so much, the series needs variety! I find it ok to be like a burnout game but with real cars and police.
It sounds so underground... Creepy ass soundtrack. Like you just have 2 wait for the sure death to arrive, travelling at speed of light right to you.... Awesome
Now, as we all know NFS MW 2012 was literally supposed to be NFS: Most Wanted 2, and it was designed to be just like the 2005 game, but then they completely redesigned the whole thing and made it a Burnout clone. It kinda sheds a new light on this song- it was probably designed to fit NFSMW 2005 aesthetics, not that NFSMW 2012 clean look. It may sound cool, if you listen to this and imagine flying Lamborghinis and Porsches, ceiling-riding cop cruisers, racers crashing each others' cars, collecting free vehicles just standing there in a cold, blue city... But it's way better if you think it was supposed to play, when the game was designed to make police pursuits adrenaline pumping and dangerous, and not just "funny". When the game was supposed to have an actual, serious storyline about racing and evading cops in that dirty, broken and corrupted city, seen with a golden filter.
