Oliver was transferred to Columbus Zoo in 2010 where he became a father. He's still alive and he and his family are going to be moved to another enclosure fairly soon. Glad I could keep you all informed :) monke

To those who think that oliver is dead because hes 19 in the video and the video was uploaded 20 years ago and although gorillas lifespans are 35-40 years, gorillas in zoos can live for 50 years or more and he is probably in something like a zoo atleast since they know his age and they could record this video, so he is most likely alive and is probably around 31 years old right now and will live for much longer if he still is in human care :)
