I'd already replaced the bulb but it wasn't working. Your video helped me realize I has the gas lines switched. Just an FYI for everyone out there: if you have the lines switched, when you try to prime it it will only pump a few times before it won't pump anymore because instead of pulling gas through the carb & filtered line you'll be trying to push it through and it don't work in reverse. Thanks for the explanation on that part rather than just throwing it together and saying installation is the reverse of taking it apart.
Well maintained focus… A lot of these things get blurry about halfway in but this stays razor sharp the whole time.

Great video. Just finished installing my new purge bulb and even though I had a slightly different saw (Poulan 2150), the instructions were clear and really helped.

Good way to remember what line goes to what, the short line goes to the short post on bulb. The long line to the long post. I'm sure there's some different carbs with different specs but 90% will work this way. ✌️🤟

You skipped over reinstalling the choke lever. It needs to be installed before the air cleaner is installed to the carb. Not a big deal, but causes a bit of extra work if you don’t realize.
He could have given socket sizes. And I think he left off-putting the choke handle on during assembly.
If you're just replacing the bulb, just take off the pull start cover which exposes the primer bulb and pop the bulb out.... You don't need to remove the carb unless you're changing lines

You can do this without pulling the air filter and carb out. just use something to pry the gap wider and the old bulb comes out the side
