INSIDE OUT 2: SCRAPPED Emotions and Their UNTOLD Stories...
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 вер 2024
- You won't believe these scrapped emotions that almost made it into Inside Out 2? Hope, a yellow character with a magical wand, was initially planned to join the mix but got combined with Joy due to their optimistic nature. Pessimism, a character donning an old-fashioned suit, was designed to believe everything would go wrong but was later merged with Anxiety. Love/Passion, the cute heart-shaped emotion, was set to portray Riley's affection and budding feelings, but unfortunately didn't make the cut. Scheidenfreude, a chubby character in German attire, symbolizing the satisfaction from others' misfortune, was considered but left out for audience clarity. Covetousness had a second, more sinister version-a thin man in a green suit-but was deemed too frightening for Inside Out's non-explicit villain theme. Guilt, depicted as a large purple character, was considered but ultimately replaced by Embarrassed for clarity in explaining emotions. Pride, a comedic character with a haughty demeanor, and Irritation, a chaos-inducing scribble cloud, were also sidelined. Which emotion would you have liked to see the most?

The new masochist and sadist emotion
they should’ve had love the whole time. joy is literally her only positive emotion. it’s not just about romance, it’s love for family, friends, hobbies, etc
Yes.
Any positive emotion is going to stem from joy
I dont think there are any strictly negative emotions because as you can see in the movie they all help you and you need them all. And joy can be negative as seen in the first movie, being forced and covering up other emotions, or as joy does in the first movie with sadness, not allow them to be felt when they are the needed emotion at the time.

And now we need a Inside Out 3 because some of those scrapped emotions are great and I really wanna see them
Covetousness is actually just the old envy, so we got one of them. (His design is also really close to ennui’s design, so- that too)
They said they weren't going to make a second! And here they are with it! Be grateful, I don't think they're gonna make a third anytime soon. Geesh
Nostalgia would probably be make a major appearance in 3
They should've kept pessimism, would've been the most realistic.
See, I feel like that just is sadness. Really, I think anxiety also is just fear. I feel like they should’ve fleshed out the characters they have rather than throw in a bunch of new ones, and maybe throw in one or two instead of like 4
Edit: I feel like I should clarify; I know fear and anxiety aren’t *exactly* the same, and neither is pessimism and sadness, but they do have overlaps. I have anxiety, I know being anxious isn’t as simple as being scared of everything. Like how you can be happily anxious for something, doesn’t mean you’re scared for something good. My concern is more so that they’re going to clutter the movie with the 4 or 5 new extra characters, especially since they’ve already established that emotions can be mixed.
His name is actually Gloom.
nah, thats just another version of sadness. You know what would have been more realistic though?

tbh I would’ve liked one of the positive emotions, having one positive emotion and now eight negative ones feels weird
yeah
But it’s realistic is it not
exactly
@@holupmoment5289 No. Schadenfreude and passion are very much realistic. Joy isn't the only possible good feeling
In my opinion, emotions are neither positive or negative, it's how we do with it.
Joy can be toxic at times as seen in the first Inside Out movie and other emotions like "Fear" or "Disgust" described as our defense mechanism against threats and are not always negative.
Any of these would have been better than Ennui. Not only was it badly defined (it’s not just boredom) it isn’t even applied well, given that whenever she elicited a reaction from Riley she wasn’t actually bored.
"too frightening for inside out" Are you kidding me?
Bing bongs death freaking traumatized me as a kid

I think Schadenfreude would be a fun choice. But I guess as it is a form of joy they combined him with joy. Schadenfreude is a more sinister version of joy(getting joy out of other people’s pain). I think I’d would have been fun to see him in inside out2.

Irritation would've been cool, but it should have been called intrusion due to intrusive thoughts being so similar.
I seriously hoped to see any positive/pleasant emotions like Passion/Love or Hope, bc it's just kinda odd and unrealistic to very so many negative/unpleasant emotions and only one positive/pleasant Joy
Schedenfraude is kind of a positive emotion just not for anyone else😊
They should have made passion/love an emotionb for riley in inside out 2 bc now that she is a teenager, this is the time that people start to gain crushes. Also i would LOVE to see in like 10 years them make riley a grown adult with a kid and nostalgia becoming a mail character. would be awesome for those who have started watching inside out ever since younger. just like how they waited for us to grow up with riley, they should do that with nostalgia but add more emotions adults most likely get such as stress, nostalgia, etc
Irritation would have been iconic😭
anger is always irritated though
@@elizabethrose644also disgust is a form of irritation
I would have LOVED to have another positive emotion like love, but as a German I would be pretty pleased to see „schadenfreude“ come into play😉
These are concepts from Inside Out that are seen in the Art of Inside Out book, not scrapped ideas for Inside Out 2.
Yeah, we have one teaser trailer. The movie isn't even out yet and it's already being overanalysed for content.

The Crabmeat (ガニガニ Ganigani?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, crab-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman. Crabmeats are slow-paced Badniks that are capable of shooting projectile balls or homing missiles from their pincers.
Crabmeats, as their name implies, are inspired by real life crabs. The original Crabmeat models had red cephalothoraxes with gray underbellies and four gray and short crustacean-based legs with claw-like feet, which allowed them to scuttle around. They also had gray eyestalks protruding from an oblong hole in their cephalothoraxes with two cartoonish photo receptors located on top of each of them, and two short antennae above their eye stalks. They also had two cable-like gray arms with large and round pincers on the end of each arm. Hidden inside their pincers are also devices that let them fire either laser spheres or missiles (depending on their model).
Starting with the Wisp incident, the Crabmeats were given sleeker designs with yellow underbellies. Sometimes, starting with the Lost Hex incident, they were instead given a cartoonish design similar to their original appearance, although they come in two variations: regular red types and sleeker orange types.
Game appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
In the 16-bit version of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, the Crabmeats[1] (ガニガニ[2] Ganigani?, lit. "Crabcrab") are found in Green Hill Zone and Spring Yard Zone.
In gameplay, Crabmeats slowly move back and forth. When they spot the playable character though, they start charging up their attack. Once ready, they will stop up, extend their claws, and fire two balls of energy from inside their pincers to the sides, which cause damage upon touch. These projects will fly diagonally into the air when launched before dropping to the ground. However, while the Crabmeats charge up their attack, they are sitting ducks. The player can easily defeat these Badniks with a Spin Jump or Spin Attack as they ware vulnerable on all sides. Also, upon their defeat, they release an Animal and award 100 points to the player.
In the 8-bit version, the Crabmeats appear as enemies in Green Hill Zone and Jungle Zone. In gameplay, they usually act like their 16-bit counterpart; they scuttle slowly sideways and will fire projectiles from their claws that will slowly drop to the ground. They are also easily destroyed with a Spin Attack or Spin Jump. However, Crabmeats, like other Badniks in the game, do not have Animals inside of them. Still, they reward the player with 100 points when destroyed.
Sonic Blast
In Sonic Blast, Crabmeats only appear as enemies in Blue Marine Zone, where they slowly scuttle back and forth, making no effort to attack the player. They also sport a different design in this game, which features a larger body, and smaller claws. Upon defeat in this game, they reward the player with 100 points, but do not drop an Animal.[3]
Sonic the Hedgehog (2001 Sonic Cafe)
In the 2001 Sonic Cafe version of Sonic the Hedgehog, the Crabmeats appear as the only enemies encountered in the game.
Sonic Rivals
In Sonic Rivals, the Crabmeat appears on a collectible card.
Sonic the Hedgehog Level Creator
In Sonic the Hedgehog Level Creator, the Crabmeats would appear as enemies that users could insert into their custom Zones. The appearance of the Crabmeats is identical to their original appearance from Sonic the Hedgehog.
Also, upon their defeat, they release a Ricky and award 100 points to the player.
