Actually, you can usually climb to the sumit. She was erupting while we were there so could not go closer than we did. We landed at a beach where there were benches in the shade to sit upon if you were too hot and a path through the jungle. The guide you can hear in the clip showed us the way. At the start of the path there are some very well made multilingual education signs. As a teacher I took great interest in the signs.
Is there not a warning in place not to land on the volcano? and is there not also an exclusion zone of 2km around the island? 5 tourists were recently killed by falling pyroclasts.You guys must have a death-wish to land on what is an extremely dangerous and unpredictable volcano.
