Love this video. I had my reservations about Bidadari because of the cemetery. I didn't know Bishan had similar beginnings too and now it's a highly sought after location!
Chinese always choose the best fengshui location to bury their ancestors. This means if the cemetery is turning into housing estate, the fengshui there will definitely benefit the residents living there.
I actualy moved from the bishan area to bidadari. Bishan was actualy quite lively and i definitely missed there. Bidadari is just feels unconfirtable because of poor lighting and pathways are often flooded with dirt mud or water.
Were there initially plans to completely remove the mount vernon crematorium and then changed to build a funeral palour there? Or was the palour planned all along? I didn’t follow news very closely. But if plans were changed, how do the residents feel about it i wonder? Also, i am not sold by the idea that bidadari falls under the toa payoh estate🤪 please leh, its just beside potong pair
Plans won’t change la, the crematorium has been fully removed, now in the midst of constructing the palour, already started last year. Even if change plans… u think residents will care meh, most might just sell once the 5 years mop is up and as for the toapayoh estate thing u go ask govt lor how they decided Bidadari is part of tpy.
