- This little guy was found as a stray/abandoned. He's only two months old. Join us as we spend a little time with him. Poor kid is so scared that he's shaking.
This little one is currently at Pinellas County Animal Services. Let's find him a great loving home!

Update: We didn't film everything. We did play/cuddle with him. He ended up getting adopted by a great couple! If not, we were going to adopt him.
We also donate to them and other places frequently. Food, toys, blankets, towels, etc. Thanks!

Thanks for thw Update. Thank you. However u do agree. More toys and other puppies should house together. A puppy alone and all those big dogs barking intimidating him. Poor little fella. We need More Love. With my limited spare time. Im now going to volunteer 1 day at a no kill shelter.

Too many pups end up in shelters like this everyday. Adopt a pup at any age at a shelter than go to a breeder. Doesn’t matter a breed, but a future best friend that’ll love you from day one.

I adopted my dog from a shelter 3 years ago. It was the best decision i made in my life! He is my best friend, my love and my comfort since my husband passed away.

All my dogs are rescues diffrent ages over the years. The hardest part is not being able to take all the dogs home

the most cruel part of this video are the other older dogs who don't have the cuteness and attraction a puppy has. they see puppy dogs getting new homes straight away. everyone just ignores them because there's a cute puppy further down in the shelter.
It's in a human's nature to go for puppies because we see that they are babies and we want to protect them from the world they don't even know yet. We know how delicate babies are and it is hardwired within our DNA to take them home because we know they will be safe. It's sort of that "children and women first" mentality that we have. That being said, there are millions of adult dogs out there and they need homes just as much as puppies do! I encourage everybody to pick an older dog when they go to a shelter, they are always so sweet and loving and have so much of a story. I'm just saying that it does make sense biologically why we always pick puppies. I believe if more people took the time to get to know every dog in a shelter, they would fall in love with an older one who matches their personality.

Massive fines and serious jail time should be imposed on people who abuse, neglect, mistreat, and abandon these poor defenseless animals. The people who save and protect these animals are the real heroes of the world. Bless you for all that you do.

What a Beautiful puppy My heart broke when I saw how scared he was. If he didn't get adopted I would have loved to have. For Christmas my boyfriend and I instead of buying each other anything we are going to put local shelter and adopting a dog. Our dog passed away 2 years ago we were so brokenheArted. Then friends of ours who couldn't take care of their Parakeet(his name was Charlie) have him to us he brought us so much joy we are huge animal lovers. He was old, we didn't care how old he was we said however long we have with him will be wonderful and happy.. We had one beautiful amazing year with him and he died in my arms. Both of us were again brokenhearted. He would sit on our bed or lay on one of us and watch TV. He gave is happiness that we had lost when our beautiful pit bull Lola passed away. So we miss having a pet. I am so happy this beautiful puppy has been adopted❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘

I would've scooped him up and taken him home right then and there. Those beautiful eyes and that scared uncertain face...to think that someone bought him as a puppy and then just left him to his own devices on the street at two-months old. That's about the age puppies leave their mommies and siblings for a new home! It's unconscionable that he was abandoned at the start of his life!! I'm so happy he was adopted, and hopefully the couple who adopted him will be his forever home.
I doubt someone bought him and abandoned him. He must have been born on the streets.

That pup was definitely adopted. Probably before this video was even posted. Puppies get adopted very fast. It’s the adult dogs that need love.

This made me cry and there are thousands of scared dogs in shelters and pounds across the country.
He needs a big stuffed animal that he can snuggle up to for comfort.

Tears to my eyes. Just like humans they the voiceless, need affection and need a home of love that will be them for the rest of their life.
There is no way in the world anything or anyone could have stoped me from picking him up and holding/loved him til he was calm and relaxed.

So much emphasis & empathy towards animals when kids need help with their homework & mentoring. Volunteer at your local Big Brother and Big Sister program & their local initiatives.

When i go to the shelter every week to pick up feral cats so we can release them to farms and not be euthanized, i see lots of dogs that are so depressed that need homes. I always cry cause it's so heartbreaking. Dogs are so loyal to us humans. Pets are healers. They are given to the human race to heal us.

Rescue animals often make the most loving pets. I got a doberman from my local rescue center 2 1/2 years ago. He had been abused and was scared of me at first. Now he won't leave my side - my 100lb lap-dog.

The noises, the smells, the loud barking, the confinement, the heavy metal bars clanging....that scares ME..and I am a human. Anyway, glad this little sweetheart's shaking... had a happy outcome. And bless y'all for helping to make it happen....

The puppy is shaking because being alone and separated from the pack normally means he is doomed. He is insecure and doesn't know what's coming next. Hope he found a good home.

Why not put a real dog bed on the floor?
Some dogs just won't lye on those stretcher/hammock type beds they don't trust them as the floor moves when they step on them, my 2 dogs are the same, has to be something soft on the floor that doesn't move or they get nervous and jump right off, looks like he's got a blanket right there so maybe not the shelters fault or any uncaring happening here.

Poor pup...very sad to see so much distress and already has had a bad start..probably several horrendously difficult days .He is exhausted as obviously hasn’t slept in a while due to fear and is dehydrated ,lost weight.. knows he is completely alone after being left at some local dumping ground,abandoned by the only humans he knows somewhere he has never been...suddenly realising he must fend for himself but no way to know how , then found by someone he has never seen before.... instinctively knows he is in a bad situation. All dogs react to the stress from the other dogs, also the attitude of staff.. These places do not check adopters like good rescue groups do, they just want dogs out for good numbers and their bonuses so some dogs are handed over to the wrong people or abusers and never heard of again. This pup knows he is in a very dangerous place and desperately trying to understand why this has happened and how to deal with the panic, distress and fearThere is no such thing as a stray...they are all dumped by a human. Really hope he gets a good human to love him.

Give him toys to help comfort , bed would be nice too and warm blankets..they did not even pick him up and hug him.

Many if not most dogs will feel even more insecure if picked up. And hugging would be doubly scary.
