About Good Omens: The End of the World is coming, which means a fussy Angel and a loose-living Demon who’ve become overly fond of life on Earth are forced to form an unlikely alliance to stop Armageddon. But they have lost the Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy unaware he’s meant to bring upon the end of days, forcing them to embark on an adventure to find him and save the world before it’s too late.
About Good Omens Season 2: A naked archangel turns up at the door to renegade angel Aziraphale's bookshop, with no memory of who he is or how he got there, and Aziraphale and retired demon Crowley's lives become extremely complicated. Heaven and Hell are both desperate to find the runaway. As Crowley and Aziraphale attempt to fix a human romance, things become increasingly unsafe for them, in the past and the present.

I feel like a big part of the reason this scene was set in Edinburgh was an excuse to let David Tennant unleash his native Scottish accent once again, and I am all for it
He's from.Glasgow, I believe, which is a different accentt to Edinburgh. :)

I suspect this show has been incredibly fun for both the lead actors in this show. A great script, a guaranteed fanbase, and lots of genuinely funny but poingant moments. Its an actors dream job.

I still hope season 3 gives us "domestic bliss", Aziraphale and Crowley.
Getting to see how they adjust to being an "us", is bound to be awkward in a good way.
Not that I don't want them to be happy, but domestic bliss rarely makes good stories
I love this- I really, really want to see the two of them finally be allowed to be comfortable together without external pressure and constant toxicity hanging over their heads. How wonderful that would be?
@@kareytanner I mean there are 2 conflicts happening in a potential s3, so even if they did fairly resolve the character issues, there would still be obstacles to overcome. They could potentially deal with their relationship plot first, then spend 1-2 episodes being fairly content whilst figuring out the main plot. That being said I do believe that Aziraphale would need a large chunk of the 3rd season to adequately deal with his religious trauma and denial about the whole situation, and they've also been separated so that's even more to overcome. That being said I also want to see happy Aziraphale and Crowley so I'm quite biased lmao

I loved this series so much and this was a great episode, I loved the scenes between Aziraphale and Crowley. Now all we need is a new series to give us a less heartbreaking ending to this wonderful story.

I highly suspect they'll get it. Gaiman has a tendency of suggesting its all up in the air, when we all know full well that whatever he writes might as well be 24 carrat gold and amazon would be out of their mind not to give him another season.

Omg. Aziraphale has 603 journals he’s been writing in since… it was possible to start writing in journals. How many more could he have filled since this flashback? I’d love another diary excerpt, if we can have season 3!!!❤

So i did a bit of Math… if he started writing when Papyrus, ie the first writing medium, was first invented - roughly 3000 BC - he would have 4.827 years to fill his diaries, meaning about 8 years per diary. If he however started writing when paper first became available - which was invented in 105 AD - that would be 1.722 years or roughly 2 years and 10 months per diary. I would assume however he keeps much more detailed entries of his meetings with Crowley than every day encounters

Why do I feel like most of his diaries are just about Crowley and their adventures together
because they probably are
I mean there is some other stuff in there as well… I think Neil shared (part of) the previous entry and I don’t remember it being about Crowley
And reviews of all the human food he's binged on during his time on earth
I agree with Crowley's worldview on this.
So does Aziraphale, really. He takes a lot of God and Heaven stuff at face value bc he is of Heaven and well-indoctrinated, and he loves God of course! He believes that there are things he is not meant to understand, and chooses to have faith that God is ultimately right. But even in this scene, later, he changes his mind about the morality of buying and selling dead bodies, and hell, his whole alliance with Crowley is borne out of his need to do what HE believes is right (which too often happens to not be exactly the same as what he’s given to understand Heaven wants)
I love Crowley in Edinburgh, especially when he's drunk on Laudanum 😂 I also love how the Demon as way better morals and more empathy than the entirety of heaven.
I need good news on the Season 3 front, Amazon, get a wiggle on, please 🙂
