I just wanna say, this video saved me: For context, I hv been searching for a high level Rhynio on offi x1, and after 100h + I found a decent one , just 115 female. I trapped it and got the embryo and I had all of the cravings ready EXCEPT THE GOLDEN HESPERONIS EGG…. And as life would have it I got unlucky and it asked for it. I started brainstorming ideas and just before giving up I watched ur video tht explained how they drop it. I said “fk it” and went to my nearest river and found a 3 of them eating fish, so I waited for a miracle, and just as I was about to give up, BOOM, a golden egg. I just wanna say that even tho many people don’t see these types of videos for regular content, they are super useful in specific moments and are watched after years of being uploaded. Thanx a lot !
Mine are on follow on a dino which is on passive, they hunt the fish in a cave and return to the passive animal Great way to get fish to feed your dino's and great way to get eggs this way
Pretty sure they patched a few things since this video because I've tried it and doesn't work. I can't use the Pachy aggro in water, and the fish lose interest and run off after a few seconds.
You are correct Blue. I went back and tested it and I was able to just make a few 1 ceiling platforms on the water to pull the PachyRhino on and use the enrage. It worked just fine. You cant get as many fish but the method works. Just don't over due the platforms, or you will kill the spawns.
Lemur's Corner Might be a little late to the party but maybe the rare flower's effect works better? I plan in building this to try it out. The journey to the Yutyranus's kibble is a long one lol

Well might i make a small suggestion for the structure. So they dont get caught as much you can make angled walls there was a video done by someone else where you can make a hexagonal building. And also if you are on single player or you own server u could use the admin command to spawn the fish inside the building.
im very sorry you dont understand why it would be bshit to spawn in the fish as an admin....... because you could just go ahead and spawn in the golden eggs.... thank you, have a nice day 5 yrs later

I tried Pachy and flowers this dosent work.. all the hard work for nothing..should have read the comments more thoroughly before starting..
Does the Hesperornis need to have the mating activated ?
I honestly don't know. I have never tried lol I do it more for the extra eggs they produce.

That was my non-dedicated aka single player. As far as I remember nothing beyond taming speed.
