@GGxBeast I don't think they are mainstream now.. Ah, well this debate can go on and on. Imho, they've developed their own style over the years and their new style is something that we can still listen to and we still can't get enough of their older albums.

@Sherryaar And musical diversity is a great thing to have. Your own personal tastes are what matters and being willing to always try something new can't hurt. I personally lean towards Japanese metal, rock, pop etc but I'm always willing to try something new, so don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. >:D

It's so funny seeing japanese metalheads. I know Japan is one of the biggest metal markets, but it's hard to picture Japanese people being metalheads. It's to coincide the image of the self controlled Japanese person with the raw brutality of the Metalhead. Anyway, cheers to them for breaking away for stereotypes!

Actually they get pretty crazy at metal shows but it's funny that as wild as they are during the music, they all stop when the music does. I've seen all kinds of bands play in Japan and it's always the same. Metallica, Disturbed, Misfits, Lamb of God, Dimmu Borgir - you name the band. Moshing and screaming one second, and statuesque the next. Very unique metal scene.

@QueefJuicer probably means the world is bringing itself "down", so, making itself falling into chaos or something probably and maybe his the last forsaken one, from now, to all eternity. I think each reader has its own interpretation, depending on the personal story and experiences of our life ;)

I'm sad they broke up. But 2 of the members formed a new band called Each of the Days. They're amazing!! Even better than Lost Eden :)

@Luke95ish and yes you can use audacity to make rap songs, in fact you can use audacity to make...METAL.. the recording software is unimportant. However for rap, I recommend fruityloops or whatever, you get actual templates and stuff to work off of and it makes it a bit easier for amateur dj's. Oh and ever hear of disfiguring the goddess? yea their singer, he's a dubstep dj on the side. look him up.

I don't know if Wrust fits in your definition of "good", but you should give it a try. And may I encourage you to try to do some awesome mix between African folk music (especially drumming/singing) and metal ?
This and Blood Stain Child. Is there any other bands from Japan that I'll feel stupid for not knowing?
A really good song by them is black report, but this song was the start of my liking for the band
