I agree The Rev was an excellent drummer and as a drummer I can say that double ride thing he played was the most innovative drum fill I have heard for a long, long time. The Rev circa 2005 is probably making teenage drummers feel the way I did when I first heard Led Zep 1 in the early 90's and Bonzo's bass drum technique blew me away and spent most of the 90's trying to copy those 16th notes on Good Times Bad Times. I imagine The Rev's double ride is doing that to drummers today. It is such a great fill.
