AllChemystery Thanks the green fuse was ok until the coating stage when the coating container snagged the outer threads and pulled on them i changed the setup and its ok now .
I do a lot of diy fireworks for my family at home and fuse has ski rocketed this last year. I was buying 300 or five hundred foot rolls from a company in Minnesota but i can’t afford there’s any more. If you’re interested in saling just some plan safety fuse that’s around 23 second a foot or even 30 second a foot is even a little better and it doesn’t have to be water proof either. Leave me a message if you’re interested dude. Thanks for the videos. Especially that fuse making machine. Nice really nice.
How did you figure out the layout & gearing with belts? I'd love to know. It's a very interesting machine & it creates amazing fuse. Thanks for sharing. Dylan
This would work well for making detcord . Just replace the powder with petn and make the diameter slightly larger or even keep it the same . Then coat in NC laquor or a thin elastomeric coating
@@jayknight139 it's literally the exact same difficulty to make petn but yes etn is the holy grail of ameture explosives. The only difference between the synthesis is using pentaerythritol instead of erythritol Aswell as being the same price, pentaerythritol may even be a bit cheaper . I found 2 lbs on eBay for 40$
How small can you make the fuse diameter? I used to be able to get some great mini-visco that was about 0.060" (1.5mm). I suppose you'd have to reduce the number of linear threads and probably close the distance between the powder feed and outer wrap to keep the powder from slipping out between the threads on the way down. Also probably have to increase the wrap rate (or add more wrap thread spools). I just measured a piece and it's pitch is about 7 threads per cm. Excellent video BTW
I can make 1.5 mm 2mm or 3mm fuse you swap the fuse forming dies as they are threaded , and drop the number of main fuse body threads to suit the diameter the six outer counter wrap threads don't change in number or pitch , 1 turn in 8mm seems to work for all diameters . Glad you liked the video i am going to do a diy for the machine as soon as I've set my new workshop up .
Very Impressive Sir. How do I purchase this from you. I need approximately 50ft of visco cord. Please and thank you get back to me as soon as you can. 👍N.h. U.S.A 🇺🇸
I have 2 questions where is the power source for the machine I dont see any wires or batteries. And when you slide that little metal tub that you put the dope in, the wick is cut and fraid so how is it staying up in the air?
Those are 2 nasty chemicals, I have no idea if it will or will not work to coat fuses. If you use it very good ventilation would be good, I once made myself fairly ill using Xylene and we were outside in a breezy environment. If I ever were to use that stuff again, I think I would invest in a really good respirator and put chemical filter cartridges on it. Some gloves that will not break down when they get the Xylene on them also, the stuff goes right through latex and mechanic type rubber gloves. The headache that stuff gave me is something I never want to experience again, it’s why I commented, if a few words of warning spares someone having to suffer the same thing it was well worth taking the time to write. Good luck!
Making some type of switcher that can insert a small patch of red or other colour at regular intervals would be a cool idea. Then you just need to have a mark added to the outside at the same time so many intervals later. You can then cut the fuse the desired distance from the mark. An additional central tube that extends into the bottom of the funnel that you push a paste slug (solvent) into at regular intervals might do the trick. Perhaps if the paste has a dye and a solvent included it would stain the fibres from the inside at exactly the correct place.
Hello, i need a fast burning, reliable and waterproof fuse with a small diameter, about 1-2mm. What’s the best way to do this? I only got FFFG pyrodex.
Nitrocellulose dissolved in acetone. It's waterproof and highly flammable, so a proper coating will let it burn underwater without retarding the function.
There are quite a few of these machines here on YT. If you watch every video you should have enough ideas to make your own. I think a important part is to have a good take up system and enough power and no belt slipping.
I would like to buy some fuse that’s just got black powder. About 23 to 30 second a foot will work. Add a little titanium to it. Not much. 350 feet and I’ll pay you fifty bucks for your time. Let me know dude. I’ll buy from you all the time. I can put some nice bucks in your pockets. Thanks let me know please.
waow very impressive machine you build there !!
The red one looks great with a nice controlled rate. Great job!

@@nuxschannel1433 I really like your fuses, would you sell me 50ft Please Sir N.H. U.S.A. Thank you
The 20 static cords and the mixing goodie that mixes the powder In the funnel at the top are a real stroke of genius
Damn i'm jealous, that's some real craftmanship!
The lacquer spreader is such a simple and great idea!
man this is awesome, love the ingenuity. Wish i came across this video earlier!!
Great job!, maybe one day you could narrate and explain it to us!
downright impressive. everythings better with sound effects too ... the clean machine makin' fuse
the red fuse looks great
That was a hell of a machine man.
Incredible work !
Nice work good fuse... wouldn't mind getting my hand on sum of of those
Everything in this video was ingenious.
Can you share this project?
Red fuse the best :) not too fast ,not too slow and beauty color

Great video! Very educational! Thank you.
Esse é o melhor estopim para explosões em série que eu já vi em toda minha vida!!!🤝🤝👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💥💥💥💥💥💥⚡⚡⚡❤️❤️❤️🤩!!!

It takes 10mm of inner core travel for the outer threads to travel 360° around the inner core .
So there is 1 turn in every 10mm .
That's amazing bro. Thats a some serious craftsmanship. Do you have laquer visco for sale? I'd love to buy some. 👍
This would work well for making detcord . Just replace the powder with petn and make the diameter slightly larger or even keep it the same . Then coat in NC laquor or a thin elastomeric coating
ETN is easier cheaper and does the same thing as far as any civilian is conserned.

Convenient, self made ignition cord...Now you no longer need those pesky stores to waste money on...

hi there, what country are you in hopefully I can purchase some fuses of you.

How many spools are for 1,5mm or 2mm fuse needed?
Would you happen to have any plans on this build that you could share?
Very nice work!
Is this machine suitable for det cord?
As long as the core material flows ok you could put anything into the core .
Nope.
K when you coated it man that was cool
Simply outstanding!👍👍👍👍👍

Nice machine and great work. Do you sale any of your fuse. If so let me know dude.
Great machine
It's a must in every dudes man cave
some machine have both reel rotating. Great work.
Wild guess here , you are working with this? Anyway awesome build !
Is the comp dry in the cylinder or moist how does it adhere to the string?
I have 2 questions where is the power source for the machine I dont see any wires or batteries. And when you slide that little metal tub that you put the dope in, the wick is cut and fraid so how is it staying up in the air?
In terms of lacquer, I have found some model aircraft dope that is a mixture of acetone and Xylene. Would that work?

I want to ask what kind of quick-burning medicine is needed
a few inches of the red comp would be great spliced into the end as a warning; event iminent (duck for coverr!)

that's quite the machine!
did you design it yourself?
Looks pretty elaborate to me :-)
How the actual F#@! Do I even get a machine like this. Very amazing but totally unreasonable.

Were did you learn this ???
what thread do you use?
Use some graphite dust for the squeaks....
Onde vende essa máquina?
You are genius
Nice products
Do you have some drawings? For this machine ?
你是如何得到如此正宗的红色的?有意思
How can you get the so vivid red color? That's interesting
I used some composition from a red boat distress flare that went out of date but was still ok to use .
Can you make time fuse?
Can you send me the info for build one please
Can produce detcord
Can you tell me what that glue is
Nitrocellulose dissolved in acetone. It's waterproof and highly flammable, so a proper coating will let it burn underwater without retarding the function.
I need this kind of machine..
Are you the person who had a channel a long time ago named "Nux's Lab?"
Yes he is
Please show machine detail,I can't catch the cotton warping technics ,If you have little time to spare me
