Story: Back in the day, around 2008 (i dont remember the exact year), i had a low budget Dragon beatdown deck and participated at that year's national, i did well but that's not the thing that makes it memorable. Last round i got a Blackwing player as my opponent, i didn't knew the guy but others said that he has a little bit too much ego, and dueling against him is not fun. Game 1: He obliderated me and went very cocky, like i have 0 chance against him. Game 2: It was a hellish grind game, i had the LP lead and he bricked. He started to take too much time for his rounds, shuffling his hand constantly, so it was just the typical slow playing strategy to buy time. The time run out, i had more LP, so i won at the end. It's 1-1. Judge says the winner will be decided in a sudden death way, first player who deals damage, wins the game. He lost the last one so he went first. Whirlwind with 2 set s/t and an Armor Master and a Gale in defense position on the board. He smirks like a mad man. My turn, and finally Karma caught up to him for slow playing the last duel. I take a look on my cards, i was really surprised at what i saw. First, i activated Heavy Storm, the smirking didn't break. Then i'll activated Dark Hole, and i'll summoned my Masked Dragon after. Battle Phase, attacking for game. I will never forget the distorted face he had when he realized he just lost.
There's a couple moments that were dumb when I was younger. I remember having this one normal monster, don't even remember the name, just that its quote said it had the power of light and darkness, so I thought I could use it on its own to summon chaos sorcerer. A friend of mine would also activate relinquished's ritual spell from the graveyard and have it eat everything I played cause it ate multiple in the anime. Gotta love young kid yugioh
My young kid story is that there is a normal monster called "Mystic Clown" and its flavor-text was something like "nothing can stop the attack of this mad clown". We took that to mean that it was immune to all battle traps (i.e. Negate Attack, Magic Cylinder, Mirror Force, etc.)

Back when BA/Snow was a thing, I was playing 7 Kaijus in the main, and 3 Hydralander. I matched up against a pendulum player at locals, and for game 2 sided in my 3 Sphere Mode during Siding During his first turn I tried to play it cool. But 3 of my first cards, were Radian, Gameciel, and a Sphere Mode. He ends his turn and I confidently put a sphere mode on his (exactly!) three monsters. However, even if I could normal summon, I had none. And had no other options. I decided to Kaiju the sphere mode with the Gameciel. And, Because he controlled a Kaiju, I put Radian on my field. I attacked for 400 damage, and won game 2
Right after the 2019 Megatins came out, I lost game 3 to a Pendulum player by brick drawing 2 Block Dragon and 2 Orbital. :D I'd like to see you beat that amazing tale.
OTS tournament Qli/Tellar format: It was one if my first official events and entered with Yosenju with three Mind Crush in the main deck. Last round of day 1 I face a Tellarknight player. He has 2 cards in hand and I knew he searched for Altair last turn. In his Standby phase I flip Mind Crush and called Altair. He revealed his hand and showed me his other card was Soul Charge. After Mind Crush resolved, I flipped my second Mind Crush. The second he saw that, he picked his deck and mat, yelled that he didn't want to play against that shit and left. I ended up 3rd place and earning my first ever invite because of that.
once at locals i was playing pendulum, time was called and it was main phase 1, i tried to go for cowboy for game, but i summoned it in attack position instead of defense, i did not have access to a borrelsword to change it to defense -the story of getting a draw versus blue-eyes.
Once upon a time in the Rescue Rabbit format; an "Ojama Yellow" came to a local tournament, we knew that he was a living joke, but this time was just bizarre: He joined using Dino rabbit, a pretty expensive deck for his own standards, so we thought he borrowed from someone else; on the first round he played against "Bagooska", who won the dice roll and summoned a 2000 atk beatstick and pased turn, Ojama Yellow started with rabbit's effect for two sabersaurus and declared an attack against the 2000, "Bagooska" said: 'ok, it dies, you took 100' "Ojama Yellow" took a look at the field and claimed: 'dam, that wasnt the way' "Ojama Yellow" then took his deck and walked away from the store.
Story: back in 2015 during Nekroz format I came across GlasgowYGO on Dueling Network ladder. He was playing Sknights and I was playing LS Infernoids. Dont really remember first game, but I know the end of the match. Was rither Game 2 or 3, he called a 4 star on my Reasoning, but he didnt anticipate Jinzo dropping into his 4 backrows. Called my deck bad and rage quited.
So yesterday, me and my bros took all of our leftover cards, put them all face down, and made 80 card decks out of them without looking at them. It was a very fun 3-way duel, with lots of “what even is this?” and “we had this?”. 10/10 would recommend
I remember I got a tier 1 one deck and got to played it in 1 tournament and everything got banned . That was ritual beasts.It was when cannahalk got banned. I was very sad
Story: One day, I was at locals. I played f**king vehicroids. I was one of those duel Links emigrators, so yeah. I went up against a red eyes player, and I got really cocky since I kicked ass against duel Links red eyes decks. Got OTK'd. Twice. I got angry a bit but didn't say anything. Now, fast forward to a couple months later. My friend..... let's call him Tyranno Hassleberry, told me about a gaming club in our area led by this one guy named Joey Wheeler. Guess who Joey Wheeler was. Now I am constantly reminded about this experience and I both feel embarrassed and laugh at this situation. Though I did end up almost killing this dude with this broken control deck I made.
I remember about a year ago, some guy was playing Dinos against my Thunder Dragons, and in the draw or standby, activated UCT and flipped my stuff face down. I said okay, I flip them back? And he says, oh no you can't, because they were just flipped. Called the judge and the other player just gave me the salt eye for the rest of the match. Lolll
The story: a couple of months ago I played Phantom Knights at locals, unfortunately mostly everyone played Shaddolls but at my Suprise pk kicked shaddoll ass "5 wins, 2 losses"
The Story: it was the height of tier 0 gouki knightmare firewall format, and I was playing counter fairies. I went against a man I will call OGRE. Ogre duel 1 lost the die roll and I went first. It was close, but I won. Duel 2 after siding he went first, doing his 14 minute turn. Turn 2, I summon Bountiful Artemis, play a sanctum of Parshath to protect my face-downs, and set a little surprise. Turn 3, he goes to attack, and I flip storming mirror force (which NO ONE ever used at my locals, so he was surprised). He actually set a solemn judgement turn 1 and activated it. Dumbass forgot he was fighting counter fairies. I activated dark bribe in response. He then said he negates using tri-gate wizard. I laughed out loud and said “YOU FOOL! ONLY A COUNTER TRAP CAN NEGATE A COUNTER TRAP!” It took him a few seconds to realize his error, and he was trying to act cool about it as his eyes looked PISSED AS HELL. He put his entire 7 link monster board back into his extra deck and passed turn. I slowly beat him up to victory. Thicc fairies strike again!
A few years back I was playing fluffals at a new locals I found and it was round 2. I go up against this rando and we back and forth and then he plays bagooska. I remembered that it negated my effects, but forgot it negated his too. He proceeds to do some combos and during which I go to read his card. I inform him that he can't do said combos and call a judge to the table. The guy looks honestly devastated, gets up, scoops his cards up, and leaves the venue. I'm still sitting there wondering what the heck I just witnessed
I once OTK'd for game and surprised my opponet, Ronintoadin. Ronintoadin was playing Paleo Frogs and I was playing Danger Gren Maju.I had won game one and last game two. He opted to go first for game three. He opens up, sets two backrow one facedown monster. I draw. I have Twin Twisters, Eater of Millions, and Pot of Desires in hand. I activate Twin Twisters and destroy his back row, prompting Ronintoadin to chain Reckless Greed. I activate desires, and it goes through and I draw Gren Maju. At this time, Ronintoadin turns to another guy at locals and is talking to them while not paying attention to me for a minute or two. I banish my entire extra deck for Eater, normal Gren Maju, attack with Eater, banishing his facedown, then with Gren Maju, and say, "Game?" Keep in mind, I had been speaking my plays the whole time, but saying "game" got his attention. Ronintoadin turns around and says, "huh?" I repeat my plays for him. I won game three, on turn two, and was so fast my opponent missed it.
At my second ever local i was fighting cyber dragons game 1 I won with my budget rokket deck and I win the die roll taking game one easily game 2 i brick and loose horribly game 3 we enter a grind game and i start getting the advantage and then he evenly matches me while he has 0 cards on feild........now im new and he didn't remember what it did exactly despite being in his hands and he said send all but 1 card to the grave so I sent all my rokkets and borreload furious to the grave and got 4 endphase floats and a revive with furious and I otked him Its been 8 months and i dont think he realized yet smile :)
So, there was this kid I'll call him Doustin like the archetype. So, we played Yu-Gi-Oh with a bunch of weird kids in Yu-Gi-Oh and we played at the cafe at the local community college more often than not. So, Doustin comes in to the college sneaking in alcohol and starts chugging he gets wasted in this public area. Yelling and playing yugioh, I don't understand how he did not get escorted out of the cafe cause it was a public area and at the same time I was confused on how he got it on the premises since even if you're old enough you are not allowed to have alcohol on campus and the police will be called if you did.
I once used whole extra deck of back row removals to bite or get rid of 5 cards. My opponent went 1st. I was playing a lightsworn mil combo deck in 2018 easy to get the synchro xyz and links to deal with those cards. The cards set was 3 call of the hunated a negate attack and monster reborn. I wasted 30 min of game 1 dealing with it. Game 2 he goes 1st sets 3 this time. My turn im rushing get get lots of monsters on my board to otk. Instead of me blowing of spells and traps this time I went for it. Magic cylinder followed by mirrior force. Time is called during his turn
I remember I was at my old Locals in college and for the first time went their with some friends (I know I am surprised as well) one of our friends was still new but was dating our more experienced and richer friend so could at least get a decent deck. I was sitting with her doing some trades and one of the creeps came in (Canon will be his name) who had this weird fasination with her and her bf. At the time we just though he was just strange like the rest of us so we paid it no mind, he asks my friend for a game which she accepted, he was playing a dystopian turbo deck which I saw him clearly cheat multiple times (slow playing, rigging his deck, adding cards to his hand etc.) Called him out multiple times but he didn't care and no surprise he ended up winning and started glowting to her boyfriend. In which case I decided to tag in with my DDD deck, I mean the guy proved himself to be a dick to my mate, so I was gonna be a dick back. I was still in my infancy with the deck so I ended up making D'Arc, contract with witch and errors pass. Little did I know Canon had switched his deck while I was getting mine out to a Canon Soldier FTK, so his turn he smurks and proceeds to loop for game, in which when I realise he is trying to deal effect damage to me I hand him my copy of D'Arc and he realises, all he did was give me 8000 life. Canon blubbers like a baby, packs his decks up and leaves. Though on the brightside, she got my spare Dimesion Barriers, I got all my high rarity galaxy xyzs and a crystal wing so all's well end's well.
Ignition assault sneak peak. I was playing a 14 year old kid we'll call him nordick. Nordick played well nordics. Game 1 he goes into his nordic link and passes on big boy odin ooga booga. I kaiju his nordin and he starts screaming at me i win. Game 2 i kaiju him again and he starts to weep and calls me shit at the game

Back in the spring of 2016 we were at locals one Saturday. It was round 3. WELL into time, and a friend of mine, let's call him Zefra, was playing Zefra against this dude playing some bizarre synchro spam deck. We'll call him stardust. So these guys are in game 3, sudden death. Like 12 turns after time was called, and no one can do shit to hurt the other. Zefra summons Zafraxi and does some stuff, then sets a backrow and passes. Stardust draws for turn and start celebrating like he just won the fucking lottery. He immediately drops Spell Shattering Arrow and says "SUCK IT!". The whole crowd around the table fucking loses it! Zefra looks mildly worried for a moment as he inspects his backrow... ... And then flips Zefra Divine Strike. And the crowd is like "oh shit! What now?!" Stardust can't fucking believe it. He starts raging and almost throws his cards across the room, but catches himself and tries to cool it before he gets a game loss. Remember all this is happening at locals. Not a regional. Not a YCS. Stardust passes turn, and Zefra draws Zefrathuban(I think), and apparently that's what he needed, because he proceeds to go the fuck off and does that crazy combo that clears stardust's board and then pokes for sudden death. The anguish in Stardust's face is enough to almost bring a tear to your eyes. He picks up his stuff, walks out, and we never saw him again.
Well I‘ve rarely been to our locals, but back then when i was like 13-14 i went there sometimes. I‘ve heared about some old man, who was playing there and i quote „smells like piss“. So on some day where i was there, i saw an old man entering the shop & I immediately knew that it was him, well because he actually smelled like piss. He wanted to look at my binder, I wasnt no where near to be a pro, but knew the prices of my cards. I had like 13 upstart goblins (got all of them in 1 day at garages sales), which were worth like 3-4€ each. After dueling his amazon deck where he was sharking all the time, because i wanted to read his cards, because nobody playes amazon & after forcing me to discard my proxy BLS (because ,,i couldnt afford it“) and summoning his own proxy catastor (because ,,he could afford it“), he wanted to buy some cards of me. He picked all upstart goblins and some other cards in that price range and gave 10€, which i didnt accept and after that i‘ve never seen him again I know this isnt farfas email, but man i didnt knew that the text will be this long & yeah am to lazy to send an email
My story was trying to get back into yugioh around link era when gokuis came out I remember because I had asked my friend to help me put a deck together it was coming along really well because the deck was shit or at least people believed it was then Knightmares came out and my friend started playing gokui I still never got my money back
i guess this is the only yugioh video about stories i remember back in 2013 and 2012 i was playing yugioh in high school with a group of people in the morning sometimes and lunch time i remember everyone in the group was super cool and fun to hang with except the dude using a dragon deck everyone said he would be cheating every time i dueled him with my synchro deck he would use his dragon deck, his turn was always the same i was convinced he was cheating because he would start with future fusion, send three white stones then add three blue eyes white dragons and a poly as well which is cheating and then he would summon red eyes darkness metal dragon by summoning a monster first then use the effect to special summon blue eyes white dragon, then he would special summon galaxy eyes photon dragon and place three face down traps, everytime i dueled the dragon deck he had i was not happy because he did not play fair at all. all the other people in the group were fun to be around, i dueled a guy with an ancient gear deck he was really good and he played great, i had good duels with him. i just wanted to share this story because i am curious if people had a similar experience dueling someone in high school who would cheat in yugioh every time they had a match

I actually do have a story from when I played Yugioh back in 2014 when I was about 12 or so. I was against this kid (not gonna say any names obviously) who played this hero deck. The deck itself seemed really cool to me since I was playing Gem-Knights (not burn) against a hero deck, which to me seemed cool because cause Gem-Knights kinda stemmed from Heros in some way. I tell him good luck and have fun (as you do) and he's just really pissed off for some reason. He was talking trash to me and to some of the people watching and I couldn't gather why. I ended up beating him and (no joke) everyone watching cheered. In hindsite, I kinda feel bad for the kid cause he was being singled out a bit, but I still find that to be one of my most memorable duels.
My thoughts to fix Yugioh 1. Remove pendulum and link mechanics from the game, this will remove extra monster zone and pends zone. 2. Ban all the over powered monsters, no more monsters that have trap effects and immunity to everything, boss monsters should have a cost to activate or negate anything also they can no longer negate everything, make them more specific like negate a monster eff or a spell... 3. No more one card combo, combos should be done by minimum of 2 cards also the more cards used to the combo the more powerful the combo is and vice versa. 4. Only 1 monster can atk directly, this will insure the interaction between the players in the game thus it would be more fun not the BS we see these days of 1 turn kill and the first player wins by 99%. 5. No more powerful hand traps. 6. No more over powered searchers, search should come out of some cost. 7. If u like this pls like and share and feel free to modify some points or add to them.

He joined using Dino rabbit, a pretty expensive deck for his own standards, so we thought he borrowed from someone else; on the first round he played against "Bagooska", who won the dice roll and summoned a 2000 atk beatstick and pased turn, Ojama Yellow started with rabbit's effect for two sabersaurus and declared an attack against the 2000,
"Bagooska" said: 'ok, it dies, you took 100'
"Ojama Yellow" took a look at the field and claimed: 'dam, that wasnt the way'
"Ojama Yellow" then took his deck and walked away from the store.
Story: back in 2015 during Nekroz format I came across GlasgowYGO on Dueling Network ladder. He was playing Sknights and I was playing LS Infernoids.
Dont really remember first game, but I know the end of the match. Was rither Game 2 or 3, he called a 4 star on my Reasoning, but he didnt anticipate Jinzo dropping into his 4 backrows. Called my deck bad and rage quited.

Story: One day, I was at locals. I played f**king vehicroids. I was one of those duel Links emigrators, so yeah. I went up against a red eyes player, and I got really cocky since I kicked ass against duel Links red eyes decks. Got OTK'd. Twice. I got angry a bit but didn't say anything. Now, fast forward to a couple months later. My friend..... let's call him Tyranno Hassleberry, told me about a gaming club in our area led by this one guy named Joey Wheeler. Guess who Joey Wheeler was. Now I am constantly reminded about this experience and I both feel embarrassed and laugh at this situation. Though I did end up almost killing this dude with this broken control deck I made.

I remember about a year ago, some guy was playing Dinos against my Thunder Dragons, and in the draw or standby, activated UCT and flipped my stuff face down. I said okay, I flip them back? And he says, oh no you can't, because they were just flipped. Called the judge and the other player just gave me the salt eye for the rest of the match. Lolll
You can't activate UCT during the draw or standby phase, only the main phase.

The Story: it was the height of tier 0 gouki knightmare firewall format, and I was playing counter fairies. I went against a man I will call OGRE. Ogre duel 1 lost the die roll and I went first. It was close, but I won. Duel 2 after siding he went first, doing his 14 minute turn. Turn 2, I summon Bountiful Artemis, play a sanctum of Parshath to protect my face-downs, and set a little surprise. Turn 3, he goes to attack, and I flip storming mirror force (which NO ONE ever used at my locals, so he was surprised). He actually set a solemn judgement turn 1 and activated it. Dumbass forgot he was fighting counter fairies. I activated dark bribe in response. He then said he negates using tri-gate wizard. I laughed out loud and said “YOU FOOL! ONLY A COUNTER TRAP CAN NEGATE A COUNTER TRAP!” It took him a few seconds to realize his error, and he was trying to act cool about it as his eyes looked PISSED AS HELL. He put his entire 7 link monster board back into his extra deck and passed turn. I slowly beat him up to victory. Thicc fairies strike again!

A few years back I was playing fluffals at a new locals I found and it was round 2. I go up against this rando and we back and forth and then he plays bagooska. I remembered that it negated my effects, but forgot it negated his too. He proceeds to do some combos and during which I go to read his card. I inform him that he can't do said combos and call a judge to the table. The guy looks honestly devastated, gets up, scoops his cards up, and leaves the venue. I'm still sitting there wondering what the heck I just witnessed
I once OTK'd for game and surprised my opponet, Ronintoadin. Ronintoadin was playing Paleo Frogs and I was playing Danger Gren Maju.I had won game one and last game two. He opted to go first for game three.
He opens up, sets two backrow one facedown monster. I draw. I have Twin Twisters, Eater of Millions, and Pot of Desires in hand.
I activate Twin Twisters and destroy his back row, prompting Ronintoadin to chain Reckless Greed. I activate desires, and it goes through and I draw Gren Maju.
At this time, Ronintoadin turns to another guy at locals and is talking to them while not paying attention to me for a minute or two. I banish my entire extra deck for Eater, normal Gren Maju, attack with Eater, banishing his facedown, then with Gren Maju, and say, "Game?" Keep in mind, I had been speaking my plays the whole time, but saying "game" got his attention.
Ronintoadin turns around and says, "huh?" I repeat my plays for him. I won game three, on turn two, and was so fast my opponent missed it.

At my second ever local i was fighting cyber dragons game 1 I won with my budget rokket deck and I win the die roll taking game one easily game 2 i brick and loose horribly game 3 we enter a grind game and i start getting the advantage and then he evenly matches me while he has 0 cards on feild........now im new and he didn't remember what it did exactly despite being in his hands and he said send all but 1 card to the grave so I sent all my rokkets and borreload furious to the grave and got 4 endphase floats and a revive with furious and I otked him Its been 8 months and i dont think he realized yet smile :)
So, there was this kid I'll call him Doustin like the archetype. So, we played Yu-Gi-Oh with a bunch of weird kids in Yu-Gi-Oh and we played at the cafe at the local community college more often than not.
So, Doustin comes in to the college sneaking in alcohol and starts chugging he gets wasted in this public area. Yelling and playing yugioh, I don't understand how he did not get escorted out of the cafe cause it was a public area and at the same time I was confused on how he got it on the premises since even if you're old enough you are not allowed to have alcohol on campus and the police will be called if you did.

I'm not the player who dealt with the Lava Golem but I am so salty for him.
I once used whole extra deck of back row removals to bite or get rid of 5 cards. My opponent went 1st. I was playing a lightsworn mil combo deck in 2018 easy to get the synchro xyz and links to deal with those cards. The cards set was 3 call of the hunated a negate attack and monster reborn. I wasted 30 min of game 1 dealing with it. Game 2 he goes 1st sets 3 this time. My turn im rushing get get lots of monsters on my board to otk. Instead of me blowing of spells and traps this time I went for it. Magic cylinder followed by mirrior force. Time is called during his turn

I remember I was at my old Locals in college and for the first time went their with some friends (I know I am surprised as well) one of our friends was still new but was dating our more experienced and richer friend so could at least get a decent deck. I was sitting with her doing some trades and one of the creeps came in (Canon will be his name) who had this weird fasination with her and her bf. At the time we just though he was just strange like the rest of us so we paid it no mind, he asks my friend for a game which she accepted, he was playing a dystopian turbo deck which I saw him clearly cheat multiple times (slow playing, rigging his deck, adding cards to his hand etc.) Called him out multiple times but he didn't care and no surprise he ended up winning and started glowting to her boyfriend. In which case I decided to tag in with my DDD deck, I mean the guy proved himself to be a dick to my mate, so I was gonna be a dick back. I was still in my infancy with the deck so I ended up making D'Arc, contract with witch and errors pass. Little did I know Canon had switched his deck while I was getting mine out to a Canon Soldier FTK, so his turn he smurks and proceeds to loop for game, in which when I realise he is trying to deal effect damage to me I hand him my copy of D'Arc and he realises, all he did was give me 8000 life. Canon blubbers like a baby, packs his decks up and leaves. Though on the brightside, she got my spare Dimesion Barriers, I got all my high rarity galaxy xyzs and a crystal wing so all's well end's well.

Back in the spring of 2016 we were at locals one Saturday. It was round 3. WELL into time, and a friend of mine, let's call him Zefra, was playing Zefra against this dude playing some bizarre synchro spam deck. We'll call him stardust.
So these guys are in game 3, sudden death. Like 12 turns after time was called, and no one can do shit to hurt the other. Zefra summons Zafraxi and does some stuff, then sets a backrow and passes.
Stardust draws for turn and start celebrating like he just won the fucking lottery. He immediately drops Spell Shattering Arrow and says "SUCK IT!". The whole crowd around the table fucking loses it! Zefra looks mildly worried for a moment as he inspects his backrow...
... And then flips Zefra Divine Strike. And the crowd is like "oh shit! What now?!"
Stardust can't fucking believe it. He starts raging and almost throws his cards across the room, but catches himself and tries to cool it before he gets a game loss.
Remember all this is happening at locals. Not a regional. Not a YCS.
Stardust passes turn, and Zefra draws Zefrathuban(I think), and apparently that's what he needed, because he proceeds to go the fuck off and does that crazy combo that clears stardust's board and then pokes for sudden death.
The anguish in Stardust's face is enough to almost bring a tear to your eyes. He picks up his stuff, walks out, and we never saw him again.

Well I‘ve rarely been to our locals, but back then when i was like 13-14 i went there sometimes. I‘ve heared about some old man, who was playing there and i quote „smells like piss“. So on some day where i was there, i saw an old man entering the shop & I immediately knew that it was him, well because he actually smelled like piss. He wanted to look at my binder, I wasnt no where near to be a pro, but knew the prices of my cards. I had like 13 upstart goblins (got all of them in 1 day at garages sales), which were worth like 3-4€ each. After dueling his amazon deck where he was sharking all the time, because i wanted to read his cards, because nobody playes amazon & after forcing me to discard my proxy BLS (because ,,i couldnt afford it“) and summoning his own proxy catastor (because ,,he could afford it“), he wanted to buy some cards of me. He picked all upstart goblins and some other cards in that price range and gave 10€, which i didnt accept and after that i‘ve never seen him again I know this isnt farfas email, but man i didnt knew that the text will be this long & yeah am to lazy to send an email
My story was trying to get back into yugioh around link era when gokuis came out I remember because I had asked my friend to help me put a deck together it was coming along really well because the deck was shit or at least people believed it was then Knightmares came out and my friend started playing gokui I still never got my money back

i guess this is the only yugioh video about stories i remember back in 2013 and 2012 i was playing yugioh in high school with a group of people in the morning sometimes and lunch time i remember everyone in the group was super cool and fun to hang with except the dude using a dragon deck everyone said he would be cheating every time i dueled him with my synchro deck he would use his dragon deck, his turn was always the same i was convinced he was cheating because he would start with future fusion, send three white stones then add three blue eyes white dragons and a poly as well which is cheating and then he would summon red eyes darkness metal dragon by summoning a monster first then use the effect to special summon blue eyes white dragon, then he would special summon galaxy eyes photon dragon and place three face down traps, everytime i dueled the dragon deck he had i was not happy because he did not play fair at all. all the other people in the group were fun to be around, i dueled a guy with an ancient gear deck he was really good and he played great, i had good duels with him. i just wanted to share this story because i am curious if people had a similar experience dueling someone in high school who would cheat in yugioh every time they had a match

There was one guy from our locals who was selling online and which was pretty normal but i ordered a pendulum deck from him last summer he said he isnt from our city and i have to pay first and i wanted the deck because he had a lot of cool secret rares in there so i payed and at first he ignored me and then he shipped to me the lowest rarity possible and he never showed up at locals ever again
I know I'm incredibly late on this but the story about the borrelsword shook me because I'm in that group and it was so funny but I had 0 context. Never thought I'd get it from a Farfa video. I wanted to ask at the time but TO said anyone who talked about it would get banned from the group 😂
I actually do have a story from when I played Yugioh back in 2014 when I was about 12 or so. I was against this kid (not gonna say any names obviously) who played this hero deck. The deck itself seemed really cool to me since I was playing Gem-Knights (not burn) against a hero deck, which to me seemed cool because cause Gem-Knights kinda stemmed from Heros in some way. I tell him good luck and have fun (as you do) and he's just really pissed off for some reason. He was talking trash to me and to some of the people watching and I couldn't gather why. I ended up beating him and (no joke) everyone watching cheered. In hindsite, I kinda feel bad for the kid cause he was being singled out a bit, but I still find that to be one of my most memorable duels.

My thoughts to fix Yugioh
1. Remove pendulum and link mechanics from the game, this will remove extra monster zone and pends zone.
2. Ban all the over powered monsters, no more monsters that have trap effects and immunity to everything, boss monsters should have a cost to activate or negate anything also they can no longer negate everything, make them more specific like negate a monster eff or a spell...
3. No more one card combo, combos should be done by minimum of 2 cards also the more cards used to the combo the more powerful the combo is and vice versa.
4. Only 1 monster can atk directly, this will insure the interaction between the players in the game thus it would be more fun not the BS we see these days of 1 turn kill and the first player wins by 99%.
5. No more powerful hand traps.
6. No more over powered searchers, search should come out of some cost.
