I really like Yema designs, but the horror stories of combined issues with QC, build quality and terrible customer service, puts me off ever buying one.
I thought Baltic’s MR collection was the coolest thing ever til I found out it holds the Hangzhou 5000a. I don’t mind the Wristmaster, but it feels like too much of an homage to an Overseas. Superman Slim with the CMM 20 would still be my go to from these guys. Cool video. Thanks, Bruce.
I hear you. I think its Yema drawing some inspiration from a couple older releases, but very much trying to get in on the integrated sport watch section of the market.
Yema is not a microbrand... never was... it's an old french brand from 1948 (after the second world war)... In picture this watch is a joke, but in movement, it look realy interesting with this shiny reflets.
I wouldn't call Yema microbrand. It's more of a revival of old independent brand that make their own movements. I'm definitely looking forward to more models going for micro-rotor option in the future.
@@xfortysd40 I blame Gerald Genta for creating the integrated sports watch bracelet trend to begin with, only need it on the Royal Oak and the Nautilus - it's just not special when every watch has it
Hi Bruce please leave the original sound and don't use the AI translation for German. It sounds terribly artificial and completely takes away the personal touch of your watch ideas. Thank you!

As a Yema owner, I wish I'd paid heed to those sentiments before purchase😊.
Same for me
Oh wow, I haven't heard any of these horror stories. Each brand gets them though
@@fullymechanical9055 a recent yema? As im really considering this exact watch and assumed these were al issues from several years ago?
Great design , bad execution it seems
What a cool looking release. I've heard both good and bad about Yema. Should be interesting to see what the future holds in-store for them

Bruce,is that a factory bracelet on your seiko you are wearing,or a strapcode?..looks nice either way!..love the finish on this Yema
Yes, the bracelet on the solar speedtimer is stock. I think Seiko did a great job on it

You should check Horage K2.
That would be awesome
Looks like Overseas to me..
Have look on Olivier Mory's work and you will be convinced 👍
They stole the bracelet from CW Twelve
And CW stole not only the bracelet but the dial! So what's your point? 😂
@@xfortysd40 From who?
What a Tissot PRX bracelet??? 😂 what a joke
@@neoth8647 how about every integrated bracelet watch, take your pick! The point is, who cares!

Sorry Martin, that is Googles doing and not mine. I'll see if there is a setting where I can turn off auto dubbing for the future.
Thank you that will be fine......🤗
