What SIM card type you uses for the smart watch?

It says it has Bluetooth but can you make Bluetooth calls and receive messages through Bluetooth or must the phone have a sim card meaning I would need to buy a extra sim card and plan. If it has WiFi I should be able to make video calls via using my WiFi hotspot from my Samsung galaxy 9 + phone via Facebook messenger or whatsapp.

This review is a year old. Amazon reviews suggest apps cannot be downloaded (too old) and battery stops charging. It's 2024, is this watch still compatible?

It either doesn't support the frequency bands your service uses, or you need to change your network APN settings. I would search "how to change APN (insert carrier name here) android" or see if your APN is even set to the right carrier
The wristband should be on the side, not in the middle.
You surely can confirm that wrist movement is impaired with current placement.

I just bought this phone because Verizon's customer service said it was compatible, but the IMEI wasn't in their database. Gonna try T-Mobile tomorrow.
Put the SIM card in a phone to activate it there first. Then move the SIM to the watch,

Does it get hot while on your wrist?
I really didn’t wear to much so I can’t tell to much about it. During my time testing it stayed cool but I was only wearing it for about 3 hours straight at max

But can it fit on your wrist like you're living in Futurama? I think that's the point. If you drop your phone, you lost $150. This is strapped to your wrist. Its not going anywhere.
So this is basically a strapon phone cheap phone. You can't get your main phone to pair with it. Basically your better off strapping your main phone to your wrist. 😂 what a joke of a review and I hate these youtubers. Promote crap and don't tell you much detail
It's actually good watch if you have a job that prohibits phones in certain areas like a call center. A way to jailbreak these type of rules.

But this damn thing is about as useful as a piece of used toilet paper, I can't get it to do anything but lock and freeze up. I'd love to be able install a naked AOSP on this, hell though I installed ai.type on it to be able to type better and now it's shakier than California in earthquake season, doesn't want to stay connected to WiFi wants to connect to Chinese Google and say it can't locate server I mean what in the literal f@ck! This thing is super half baked.
