This is a new journey for me. I love modern calligraphy as it is called. I ordered a calligraphy set off Amazon but rather messy. I do however have brush pens they are Arteza. When I was younger I use to sit in my room and practices my handwriting which I always got A's in. I accidentally found your videos and I go on your website these is by far the best ones yet. Yes, they actually have another kind of brush pen for fabric which I use on paper also called "Stained" and are almost better than these permanent markers because they don't bleed through everything or dry out quickly.

Actually there are 2 brush pens by Sharpie (in Staples). The large brush marker and the smaller Sharpie Stained, which is meant for fabric but is awesome on paper and it doesn't bleed or smell!

HI Morgan, Did you watch my other video about Sharpie brush markers? It explains paper etc. Sharpies bleed through everything except specialty marker paper, but I usually use HP PRemium laserjet paper 32 lbs from Staples. That limits bleeding because it's really smooth and heavy weight.

So I have these exact pens and im I just cannot get the tip to make a line as thin as yours when i do upward strokes. The thickness is almost exactly the same x

Shali, push more on your downstrokes. Your upstrokes do not have to be really thin, just thinner than your downstrokes. Really push down hard on your downstrokes to make them thicker. That should help.
