Great informative video. I have a friend who is a world traveler and India is her favorite country to visit. It looks like it lived up to your expectations. So happy you’re getting to go on all these adventures! ✌🏻💕
Great advice in the areas you covered. Imagine that the food is spicy and an acquired taste if similar to Indian restaurants in the states. So happy to hear that the trip went well and your descriptions and analysis of the sites as well as the cultures that you encountered are well crafted. Enjoy your time back at home and we'll look forward to more adventures in the near future!
You are too kind! Thank you for your support and well wishes, we really do appreciate it and you 😊 It means so much to us to have such supportive people, like you, in our corner. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you too!
Sounds like you loved your trip!! My friends just got back from a birding trip to India! I waiting to meet with them to hear all about it!! So glad we get to share in your adventures after van life! (Has Mike lost alot of weight?)
You are right! We did really love our trip! We hope your friends had a great time on their trip as well 😊 A birding trip sounds like it would be an amazing adventure. We really appreciate you coming along on our adventures, it means a lot to us! And no, but he did get a haircut and trim his beard haha

A little correction about the Evisa….you can’t get it “as soon as possible” like you suggested….you can’t get it any earlier than 30 days in advance…about of people buy their plane ticket a few months in advance but you can’t get the evisa until you have just one month to go…
11:50... no one use any kind of purified water in their food unless its an 5star hotel/restaurant ... the problem with western people eating Indian food is Indian food is spicy and oily which your belly is not used to... so when you suddenly change your diet, you feel sick due to gastric and acidity... that's all... thousands of people eat from street vendors, no one fall sick... i do agree that hygiene is poor though, but getting food poisoning isn't related to that... its just change in diet
Did you say you took one immodium each day as a precaution? Is that ok to do? Am going to India & am worried about an upset stomach so really want to prevent if possible.
My e-visa came through on Monday afternoon, it only took two days, what a relief! Never again will I book a tour to another country without checking on visa status first!
I went to a guided tour in Morocco. I gave money to their tip kitty, but I noticed that our guide hardly tipped and just pocketed the money. Which in turn left us to tip again. What was your experience with you guide?
I am really intrigued by your thought processes that led you to ask this... this... interesting question. Care to elaborate your reasons for asking such a question? 😅
I'm so glad I watched this video--but I'm also frantic and stressed out. Back in July I booked a trip through a travel agency to the "Golden Triangle," starting mid-September. I'll be meeting up with a small group of tourists for a two-week trip. Other than the non-stop 16-hour flight in Economy on Air India, I was looking forward to the adventure. I'm sure that somewhere in the paperwork there was mention of a visa, but I wasn't paying attention. Why would you need a visa when you have a passport? Two days ago I was running errands and decided to listen to your "10 Things," and the first thing you mentioned was the visa requirement--and I never applied for one nor checked it out--totally my own fault and foolishness. I dashed back home in a panic and told my daughter (I live with her) and we got online and found Indian e-Visa for people who forgot or didn't know they had to have a visa for India and needed one ASAP. There were lots of complaints about the website but it was my only choice, so my daughter filled out the lengthy application, she had to take a portrait-sized photo of me against a white background with no shadows, had trouble paying the $25 fee until we used Pay Pal, and I should receive my Visa in the next day or two (hopefully). It's now a Monday morning, and if I don't get my visa by Saturday morning--the day I'm leaving for Delhi--I'll be up a creek and out of a lot of money, all due to not paying attention and doing my homework as soon as I made my reservations. All I can do now is wait and hope for the best. I'm sure I'm not the only person to find out at the last minute that a visa is required. So thank you for listing the most important information (IMO) once you decide to travel to India--APPLY FOR A VISA ASAP!!
# Tipping in restaurants 4:18 - in India you definitely don't have to tip 10% in restaurants. You can tip 50-100 rupees. A little more if you are feeling generous. # Begging Remeber if you give money to beggars you may immediately get swarmed by other beggers. It's still worth doing if you feel like it.
November is not 'off-season' - Mid October to November end and February to mid march are the months most people in the know plan trips to delhi. The time from december to january is too cold in the evening and early morning and also witnesses the time period that gives Delhi briefly the prestigious title of being No. 1 in air pollution in the entire world, with poisonous smogs descending regularly and 3 out of every 10 children born there in that time period having lasting health issues to remember delhi by. ❤ 😊 P.S: If people with breathing problems visit delhi during december and january, I guarantee you that India will an "unforgettable" experience in your life.Although N95 masks are recommeded during smog times, you can avoid it to gain authentic delhi experience. Let Delhi be to your body what Paharganj is to Delhi. ❤
Tipping culture...!!??? In India its not.if you feel happy abt service or extraordinary service, only then tip.your guide's guidelines about tipping is just misleading.you are not supposed to tip every now and then.you don't need to pay people extra to do their respective job.
The tipping guide is helpful thanks😊
That is great to hear! Thank you so much for watching, we really do appreciate it 😊
Thank you so much - this is such practical advice, and stuff I haven't seen on other channels

What about having your cell phone going into the Taj Majal? Is that allowed?
Yes, cell phone is allowed

Really isn't necessary to tip. As an Indian you should title your "tip sheet" given to you as "White Tax".😅😅
Taj Mahal security will return the things you submit, absolutely no need to worry.
Only phone is allowed, nothing else.
My friend is helpless right now

No their advice is pretty accurate. Only caveat - you don't have to tip 10% in restaurants.
