As the preparedness community on youtube matures the mainstream focus is beginning to shift (albeit largely still preoccupied with what you call Pillar 1 i.e. gear) more attention is being paid to the cognitive and physical aspects of preparedness. This is only to be expected as everyone and their dog has a full bug out bag, now they want to do stuff with it. Nice to see you branching out more into the theory, strategy, philosophy of prepping.
I've done other videos along the lines. My E/SACK video and Bugging out with kids both contain material that gets overlooked but is extremely important.
YES!!! Seriously, this past week I have saw multiple channels briefly mention fitness and physical ability, and I hope its becoming the trend that I think it is! Being into fitness, I've been preaching this for a while. Great to see big-time youtubers with influence like yourself speaking this kind of information. Keep it going!
Chris my favorite thing about you that many people lack out there is the logic you use. Your approach to things is spot on and not mainstream. You do what's realistic and maybe not the most fun or liked, but logically it makes the most sense
I've been thinking about this for a while, ever since I did my bug out bag video and was out carrying it on the trails, winded like no other. I have a plan of action, but I've been dragging my feet. Thanks for this kick in the ass I really needed it!
The best armor-piercing questions are those that get under our skin. Now I gotta ask, _can_ you carry your wife or child for an appreciable distance? I know I can carry either of my nephews (one's a pudgy toddler, the other is a thin 7-year-old) for at least two kilometers, but I'm not sure about how I'd fare with both. Something to consider, now that I'm typing this.
I have commented on your videos a couple of times. I am NOT a survivalist but a hiker and runner. I run marathons (Boston Qualified) and go out for extended outdoor excursions. When I look at survivalist videos the first issue that comes to mind in risk assessment. They spend so much time on gear and skills to prepare for an outside threat when they are killing themselves with cheeseburgers and fries. I absolutely agree with this video.
Wow Chris I needed to hear this. For the past year or two I've been stuck in "gear mode." With every knife review/gun review/pack review etc... I just want to spend money and then play with my new toys. During that same time my physical fitness has dramatically declined. I needed this kick in the ass to get my shit together and start changing my ways and building good habits. Thanks again bro much needed!
Some great points Chris. I would also like to suggest to those that just hate going to the gym because they get bored. Try joining a martial arts class or other such activity. It makes the work out more fun and you learn other valuable skills.
Excellent video, the ability to implement is often forgotten. I am reminded of a video I saw featuring Les Stroud ("Survivor Man") stranded in a northern Ontario wilderness. This was not his 1st such adventure but one of many. What I found interesting, was when he tried to do a bow drill fire which took him 11 hours. After finally making fire, he remarked how he previously made hundreds if not thousands of bow drill fires. The thing is, its always easy under controlled conditions, but the tremendous stress created by being lost in a rugged wilderness can reduce the strong to mere weaklings and experts to simple beginners. The 3rd pillar cannot be stressed enough, to deal with the rigors and stresses of any emergency, good physical and mental prepardness is perhaps more essential than gear.
I've missed out on not watching this video until right now. Upvoted _with gusto_. Speaking of fitness as the third pillar, Chris, I have an interesting tale to tell: I started watching you for real about late 2014, and you're one of the reasons why I've started to get myself fit. You've been talking about preparedness in a general sense and how there are many facets to it, and I've always seen how you always looked fit and ready for a fight to the finish, and I thought "this dude's not gonna fail if he has to do something strenuous in an emergency, I should follow his example". I'm naturally pretty strong, but my aerobic performance was lacking and I knew it. I waited for my summer vacation to start late in December (southern hemisphere here), and dusted off the cobwebs from an ellyptic machine my mother had bought way back. The first two days were literal pain, like you said you wanted to die on the first week, but then things got better and better. It got to the point where I had to switch out and bought a used treadmill. I got that thing with the thought of preparedness in mind, because I'm not gonna pedal standing when my world gets borked, it's gonna be a matter of hoofing it, and fast at that. And it's helped one heck of a lot. Just now in late March, I went on a university trip with some students and ex-work colleagues (I both study and work there), and some of the programs involved some light hiking, 3 miles at most. I've also had to run after the bus once when some student and I were left behind because for some reason the crew didn't want to wait. I got out of that two things: • One, I'm really glad that I was prepared, because I made said hike without huffing at all and managed to sprint fast enough to catch the attention of said bus. • Two, I actually got surprised and even a little scared to find that, in a gang that had in it lean-looking people in their teens or barely past that, I'm very likely on the top 3 of those that were the fastest and had more stamina. There is a massive catch to that: *I weigh 277 pounds* (that's 126kg, metric fellas). Seriously, it's a concerning reality check when the fatman leaves such youngsters in the dust (the other dude that missed the bus? Got left behind), and even moreso when they allegedly are a part of some sort of athletic association (I don't know how it works, but seriously, come on, if you're !). Granted, I'm positive my preparedness doesn't stop there: I'll only consider myself prepared when I can do three pull-ups, which means I can consistently hoist myself up on something with my arms alone, and I can't do even one. This video helped me remember that point, and also that I have some small weights at home that I can do some good reps with after I'm done running. They're not gonna be enough for massive strength improvements in record time, but any training is better than no training at all. Regarding correct nutrition: I'm sure your nutritionist program is helping you well enough, hell it shows in your videos every time you're on-screen, but just in case it's not available to others, I recommend you at least go to a few WeightWatchers meetings. You can take some solid notes on how you can eat better (what you should pick, and when and where to eat said pick) and discuss it in said meetings. I've frequented them back in 2012 for four months or so, and while I don't have survival levels of nutrition knowledge, I know what I should put in my mouth to get the best results both in health and fitness, which includes moderating vices such as greasy and salty food. And one vital point of preparedness that doesn't take much thinking to realize is that BEING HEALTHY IS BEING PREPARED. So yeah, guys, here's a tip for you. It's a good place to start if you're looking for the second pillar to your third pillar. Speaking of which, how's Will's third pillar? He admitted himself that he was out of shape in a 2014 video, I just don't remember which.
Hey, Chris. Good kick to the seat of the pants. I've lost 40# since Christmas, gained a bit back, and need to get back into gear. But, I'm not "in shape." Can't carry my 4 year old as far as I'd like to be able to. Went swimming recently, and my arms gave out at around 50-60 feet. Losing weight is a key component. My knees hurt less, my back hurts less, I'm sleeping better...but, I've got a ways to go. All the gear in the world won't help if I can't carry it from Point A to Point B. Thanks for the challenge. All the best.
A lot of good information in this one. One thing I would add is don't wait to join a gym. I workout in my yard and run in my nieghborhood. Bodyweight exercises are great.
Alright, hands up, I am guilty of this, and I am painfully aware of it. I`ve been into preparedness and survival for a while, I have learned a lot of the skills, gathered a lot of knowledge, still getting the gear (cause I lack money) but my physical ability is crap. I am 300 pounds. I am not completly unable cause I am build strong, but still, running or jogging longer distances, even just walking for a longer period, is very exhausting for me. I can maybe walk 2-3kilometers, jogg maybe 300 meters, sprinting, on a good day 150 meters. And I am still young, in my mid 20s, and already have joint problems. I recently started changing my eating habits (again) and started exercising daily. Some people are just so caught in their lifestyle that they don`t even think about changing it. For me, a woman changed it all :D I think you made a great video here PREPAREDMIND101 cause obviously this is a problem. Took me a while to see it myself, but I totally agree with you. I just hope I can get at least somewhat into shape before I ever really get into a survival situation (which hopefully never happens)
Nutritionists are a big help. And I catch hell for this but I wholeheartedly believe it because it was the thing that got the ball rolling for me: a slow (non-fad) colon cleanse. You HAVE to start with cleaning up your bodies toxic waste system so it can work better. The body IS a system. Every part has a purpose, and your colon, liver, and kidneys are super important. When your body can't absorb nutrients because of the built up sludge you'll constantly be hungry. Do your own research. Some will say be wary of quacks...but when it comes to HEALTH I listen to the natural types. If I got a broken leg or an infection, I'll talk to an MD. JMO and personal experience, take it for what it's worth.
Yesterday I had to write an exam. I was all about how I can't do it and I really wasn't prepared. Just before we started, someone said: "you're gonna write A or B anyways..." I went into the exam and confidently nailed it! I thought "he's right, I can do it" I'll tell you how it was when I get it back, but I felt boosted and motivated, because I knew I could do it.
I always appreciate your honesty and willingness to be truthful about things. That's why I watch your videos because I feel like you are never trying to put on a front and you allow your viewers to see things for what they are! keep it up and keep em coming
As a child I was called "husky". It was ground into me that I was fat. Even as a teen when I tried to diet I was shut down by the paternal side of my family. It sucked so bad that it became my identity. Every year I weighed more, and more. Three years ago I was going in for knee, and they weighed me. I was stunned to see 461 lbs. Lack of mobility in the years following only made that number grow until this year. I finally decided that my past was not going to define me. I decided to give up sweet tea January 1st, and my pants started to feel loose. In March I decided that I wanted to loose more weight, so I started walking, and consulted a doctor about lap band surgery. To weigh me they had to send me to a local veterinarian's office. That was about as low as I've ever felt. It read 464 lbs. In the mean time I gave up rice, and started doing the keto thing. I've lost a little more than 30 lbs, and just joined a gym. I'm not going to look back except to see how far I've come. I plan to get down to 200; it's my long term goal. Until then I'll try to make myself a better person. I'll check out this book for sure. Thanks for this channel. I hope one day to go out, and put some of these ideas to good use. In the mean time I'm doing what I can every day.
Yeah I think fitness is important too. I got my mile down to 5:31 last year, I wonder where I am right now but I'm probably about a 6:10. Idk too many situations where you would need to be THAT in shape but being able to handle some hard running definitely has its advantages.
Chris this a much needed topic and it is late in the piece but better late than never. You asked ages ago what people wanted to see on your channel and I and a few others mentioned politely "stick to your name pm101 and make it about the prepared mind (and body, situation which follows mind etc). This was a while after one of the zombie goes boom affiliation vids where you had a great vid about drugs and addiction and how to prep not only for your own situation but for the ensuing madness when people can't get what they need...let alone food and water. Even mentioned Tornado preparedness etc after the Siren in your new area and evacuating families. Then after that it was just gear gear gear schrade thrunite ....tier 1 as you choose to put it. It wasn't just tier one it was a very limited filtered section of tier one. So...I guess I am saying I am glad you are moving along with the Prepared Mind aspect and keep that going.
EarlyMist I think I get it. But taking care of what you call Tier 3 means conquering fear. And preparedness of the mind means admitting to...but conquering fear. And getting your body in shape is helping your mind get in shape and kudos and may we all benefit from this mentality and eventually with practise and habit 'way of being' as and everyday normal lifestyle. Gear means s#$t without health...physical and mental. Cheers
Hey Chris, great topic. As a personal trainer, the benefits of being fit and prepared for any emergency survival situation, is substantial. Great job! Keep it up!
Also I've been working on a similar thought process , I've got a background in fitness and nutrition and I was a trainer for a few years awhile back and nutrition and fitness is extremely important to survival day to day and in extreme circumstances, Iam glad to brought it up an I'm going to be spreading that message on my channel as well and I hope more of us do. Thanks Chris for the great videos
You're right on target Chris! I've read that book a few years ago and was actually in the middle of it again. I have seen this work first in my life as well as my brothers and many others. I would like to add another book or two if you haven't read yet 1) Hung by the tongue 2) the tongue a create force . They along the same lines I think you'll really enjoy them.
Right on! I am also in need of work on the 3rd pillar. Started about one month ao lifting weights and walking (progressing to running). Thanks Chris. Good stuff!
Great topic Chris. I am also one of the guilty 300+lb guys. I know I need to get off my duff and hearing things like this only helps motivate guys like me. Thanks for all the great vids and keep up the great work!
Truly outstanding video Chris. Spot on. I downloaded two of Murphy's books while you were talking. Looking forward to getting back on the treadmill that I've ignored over summer. Thanks, mate.
Great video Chris. I totally agree with you about your subconscious being a big part of personal success. I started trying to think and act positive around age 17 when I realized its up to me to make it in the world. I strongly believe this positive subconscious attitude helped me get a good job, find an amazing woman and surround myself with good people. Now I'm 22 and have a track car, all the survival/bushcraft gear i want and I just bought a house on my own last summer. Success all comes down to hard work and the right mind set. Love your videos brother. Keep it up.
Thanks Chris, this was just the extra nudge that I needed to get my body to do what my minds wants for it...Mind power is Huge and amazing. I tell myself " just move your feet" (and the rest will follow). It really is that simple. And the excuse of being too tired...BS...just move your feet. I just ordered the book and am looking forward to using my new tools
Paul Charron Making the decision is the first step. Announcing it publicly, like this, is a great way to commit. Step 2 is... get on the floor and start doing pushups. Don't wait to join a gym. Do it NOW. Just being supportive. Yes, a gym is a good way but do not wait till you are ready to join. Do it Now. Congrats.
Awesome video, bother! I think that the majority of outdoorsman, preppers and even most firearms enthusiasts tend to skip fitness. I've been doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu off and on for almost 7 years now (3 strip purple belt) and have always been in pretty decent shape... 7 to 10, 6 minute rounds of alternated sparring will do that. Lol! I honestly think that being in shape is just as important as gear, because you can have all the gear in the world, but if you're winded after walking a few hundred yards, then you have a serious problem. I have a quick example of that. A friend of mine who has been overweight most of his life, finally got in shape and is under 200 pounds for the first time since he was a teenager. And it's all because I took him hiking with me a few times (with his pack on) and he realized how out of shape he really was. It took him over a year, but he did it, and now when we go on hikes, he keeps up with me. Keep up the great work!
We should also mention that hynotising doesn't work on everyone.. they usually check people out first to see who is most likely susceptible to it.. a certain type of person usually.. and also the sugar pill or placebo.. that even works when you directly tell them first that it's only a placebo and write "placebo" on the drugs lol. Which is interesting. Thought I'd just share that for the hell of it.
Awesome video I had a wakeup call , I was 403 lbs and developed high ;blood pressure, made some drastic diet changes and am down to 254 today , 4 years of hard work, I I can do it anyone can!
This is an important video that will be hard for a lot of people to take. It's important to survive real life before trying to survive in an emergency. All of the gear and fire-making skills in the world won't get you out of heart disease.
It's funny.. For a while now I have been thinking this same thing, I'm a large guy and have the first two pillars down pretty well, but like you said I have no "gas", and need a kick in the ass to get started, thank you. Videos like this are inspiring, and the book looks great, going to buy that asap.
More people need to think like you. I'm amazed at how many people are on drugs, fat, etc..... This is the most important leg of the stool in my opinion. Thanks for posting.
I'm moving to a 84 acre farm, with farmhouse coming soon suburban...scared a little, but cannot wait, I will do this...and I got it by a guy calling my number that someone gave him, that wanted the place, but gave him my phone number? Na don't believe in coincidence ...lol...you must have knowledge and survival skills and a good book on survival that you know front to back...you must be physically, mentally, and spiritually ready....that's why I'm making myself do this...to learn self sustainability...and get physically fit..
I wasn't looking, someone called me and a man had put his number on a plate that moved this man out of his farm and said he wanted to rent it, and gave him my phone number?? Coincidence no I think not..don't believe in it, so it just happened to be close to where I live now but only a hugge farm...it has a lake and barn, and 6-7 out buildings/garages and a beautiful greenhouse also....so I was moved to say yes....it's called sustainability :)
You seem to know your own mind pretty well. I think the point you make about having to be honest with yourself is a particularly good one when it comes to addressing problems and effecting change. Long story short, I suffer with depression and have good insight into the way my mind works and the problems I have, as I was told by my psychologist at the time (I no longer see a psychologist). The nasty thing with depression is that your mind basically turns on you (on a chemical level). While your conscious mind tries to build positive habits and thought processes, the little gremlin that is depression comes along and knocks them down. Just thought you might find this perspective interesting as someone that is into exploring thought processes. I found this video really interesting and I think it is great that you are sharing something that inspired you with others.
book is ordered! and, an opinel... gotta gift myself for doing the right thing..hehehe thanks again Chris I think this video taught me more than any other.. its exactly what i needed to do...
Chris, it took guts to do a vid like this. I have been playing with my subconscious for years based of the book called Blink. Relying on your first thoughts based off of prior experiences. But this is taking it in a different direction. Thanks I will read this book.
Love your gear vids .. always have but I always tune into your discussion vids on the a thisl subject of a preparedmind. Fantastic vid!! Thanks for sharing.
The mind is more powerful than most people even know !!!! Good video , and your right I would like to see a lot of people put their gear on and hike in 7-10 miles in 6000 or 7000 feet above elevation , they would start shedding their gear so fast !!!!!!!
Some good points. It's all about balance though. Some people take things to the extreme... too much gear, too much exercise and yes, too much positive thinking... to the point of annoying those around you (not you). There is a much older book that speaks of this working for us by design... it's nothing new. Nice talk!
For most preppers, their biggest risk is a heart attack -- not WROL. Most who join health clubs stop going. It is extremely cheap to lift a few barbells; I got mine in 8th grade. I've jogged outside 3 miles per day for 33 yrs. When it is too icy or windy or the snow is too deep, I shovel snow or go hiking. I do 400 situps per day at home. Anybody can stop smoking and drinking, save money, and feel better. My main cost is a hundred bucks per year for new running shoes.
Your are a genius and a amazing individual. We need more people with your mind set, I have been watching a lot of your videos and you are a great inspiration to me. Fuck the what the haters say and keep up the good work my man! Love your concepts and content.
I assume your point is that physical aptitude is just as important as anything when it comes to preparedness for a disaster, and I completely agree with that logic, but I'm not sure why it took you 30 minutes to tell us that. However, I could be completely misunderstanding the message of this video, it was all over the place.
Oops! People always told him he could never be an actor. He could never be a Governor. Well, we see him on TV as an actor and we all know he was governor. What you talk about Chris, hopefully people realize, Oparah, Will Smith, Jim Carry, and many highly successful people use their subconscious mind. It is true, and it affects you whether you believe it does or not. If you think you can or think you can't either way your right. Its the thought that makes it so- Henry Ford
YES! I would say you hit the nail right on the head! Prime example- everybody knows who Arnold Schwarzenegger is. Learn how he came to be, how he thought about things. People al
It's too bad your new knife coming out is probably going to be around $200. I was looking forward to get one and it is somewhat out of my price range. Anyway could you do a knife review on the Buck Compadre camp knife. Please and thankyou.
Very very good video Chris ! very informative indeed, and people need to address this and themselves ! I'ts to easy to say ' i have got the best this ! i have got the best that ! 'But if you have not got the most important thing 'HEALTH' you have nothing ! all the so called best things you have will be of little to no use, HEALTH ! Check yours ?
This may upset some people, before science found out the brain/mind was 'plastic' and neural pathways could be rewired, altering thought patterns and habits, it is written - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2 "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21 As in, try not to get rid of bad habbits, without replacing them with good habbits. Otherwise another bad habbit will replace the first!
Though I know some people are suckers to this type of stuff, having a good sense of reality will also work for weight loss, survival, etc. People that fail at exercise 9 times out of 10, it is because they lust food and do not enjoy working out. The opportunity cost of losing weight takes to long and doesn't allow you to eat what you enjoy. Your basically a cronic masterbater. ANYONE who goes one year, eating less than 2,000 calories (unless your really short you may need to consume less) that are from natural sources, you will lose weight. The truth is, people will go Monday through Friday eating decent (or at least they think they are), then they go out to eat and eat shit all weekend and the 10k calories you consumed during the week turns into 20k which is almost 3k calories a day. As a former personal trainer people had a million excuses and bitched about how they couldn't get fit and all the while consumed over 20 thousand calories a week. No shit your not going to lose weight. This mind game stuff might work for some but I never met someone who believed they could lose weight by eating out for lunch every day and drinking StarBucks every morning actually do so.
If I say I have a big Johnson, is it going to happen??? ;))) BTW, great vid and topic. "The greatest weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steven Biko.

I've been thinking about this for a while, ever since I did my bug out bag video and was out carrying it on the trails, winded like no other.
I have a plan of action, but I've been dragging my feet.
Thanks for this kick in the ass I really needed it!
Great point ' the only thing holding us back is excuses ' and we are only lieing to ourselves
Your comment about being able to carry my kids or wife long distances really hit me hard. Thank you for being blunt.
The best armor-piercing questions are those that get under our skin.

There is a massive catch to that: *I weigh 277 pounds* (that's 126kg, metric fellas).
Bodyweight exercises are great.
mrnothingbettertodo This comment plus your username make for a very interesting unintentional punchline :P
Great video. To be successful in anything you have to believe in yourself.
So...I guess I am saying I am glad you are moving along with the Prepared Mind aspect and keep that going.
it's very easy when you are a fear reviewer to let that take over.
PREPAREDMIND101 Hi Chris. How do you mean fear reviewer? You mean reviewing from a point of fear? Cheers
Cheers
EarlyMist I think he meant "gear" reviewer...just my guess.
Good stuff!
Good book too!
I know a lot of 300 pound survival experts. Kinda funny. Great vid.
Tom Olofsson
Yup, If I don't make some serious changes I'll hit the 300pd mark... Time for change.
Do it Now.
Congrats.
Tom Olofsson
You're a good man Tom, greatly appreciate it.
Take care
Cheers!
Paul Charron My advice, for what it's worth: begin walking. Don't jog. Just go for a brisk walk an hour a day or even a half hour for starters.
Paul Charron What Teachering said, go for an hour walk every day, get an audio book and do 2 great things at the time.
Power to you, brother! Rock the heck on!
Thanks for this video man. I am entirely out of shape and have some medical problems with my neck. I know physical fitness is my biggest weakness.
This is an important video that will be hard for a lot of people to take. It's important to survive real life before trying to survive in an emergency. All of the gear and fire-making skills in the world won't get you out of heart disease.
Hope you make more videos on this, I need to learn this! I ordered the book and can't wait to get started. Thanks man!
This is a terrific video, Chris! One of the best I've seen on your channel. Your advice is on the mark.
It's funny.. For a while now I have been thinking this same thing, I'm a large guy and have the first two pillars down pretty well, but like you said I have no "gas", and need a kick in the ass to get started, thank you. Videos like this are inspiring, and the book looks great, going to buy that asap.
This came like a surprise. However, yes to all. Thanks man!!!!!!!!
Honest man we need. Keep up your way.
Great job Chris! Thanks for keeping it real with your humbling beginnings. I really liked your story. Keep up the awesome stuff!
Enlightening , makes sense. Thanks for the reminder!!!
great video Chris . Just what i needed in more than one way... im getting the book.. thanks again!
Great video, bang on! I'm gonna be thinking about this all day.
Great video and exactly what what I needed to hear.
Chris you are good man. Thanks for this video. I ordered the book and on my way.
J
Awesome video Chris, thanks for sharing!
Great! One of your most important or mabe even the most important of your videos at all! THX!
I am excited about tarps !!
Thanks Chris, this makes sense.
One of your best vids.
Some good points. It's all about balance though. Some people take things to the extreme... too much gear, too much exercise and yes, too much positive thinking... to the point of annoying those around you (not you). There is a much older book that speaks of this working for us by design... it's nothing new. Nice talk!
cyclist01222 Those people annoying people aren't really utilizing the knowledge. It's like a substitute religion.
My main cost is a hundred bucks per year for new running shoes.
thanks love all your videos keep on truckin
Best advice !!
Keep up the great vids !!
Your are a genius and a amazing individual. We need more people with your mind set, I have been watching a lot of your videos and you are a great inspiration to me. Fuck the what the haters say and keep up the good work my man! Love your concepts and content.
Thank you for that, this was refreshingly different.. :-)
Nice vid, Chris! I'm getting the book.
Thanks Chris...great info...
Very good! Thumbs up... This should motivate a lot of your subscribers!
can you make a vido about good camping/survival tarps review
Its about time u get a Note!
Very good Chris.
I can just imagine you asking your wife if you can run around the back garden with her on your shoulders for training purposes haha.
Juice, run, period!!!
Good points Chris!!
I assume your point is that physical aptitude is just as important as anything when it comes to preparedness for a disaster, and I completely agree with that logic, but I'm not sure why it took you 30 minutes to tell us that. However, I could be completely misunderstanding the message of this video, it was all over the place.
Awesome video man!
Good video Chris!
On point Chris!
Very well said ! Your on your way to be ripped, buffed and diesel ! :)
I don't know about all THAT. Strong and 10% less body fat and I'll be happy.
JX2 and JX3 might be pricey, but Jessica-X will be within most everyone's reach.
well that's cool.
Well said!
Good video. thanks.
thank you for this
Note 4 for the win! :D
Perhaps you should turn your pillars around. I, for one, think that what you just talked about should be the first pillar.
True, but I ordered them in the order that 99% of people prioritize.
PREPAREDMIND101 Yeah, that makes sense. Great vid.
This may upset some people, before science found out the brain/mind was 'plastic' and neural pathways could be rewired, altering thought patterns and habits, it is written -
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2
"Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
As in, try not to get rid of bad habbits, without replacing them with good habbits.
Good talk, but I don't know if I will take advice from a book that misspells success on the cover...
Holy Sh*t!! I never noticed that! LMAO!
Not a "survival guy," be a "thrival guy".
Check out Reallybigmonkey1 he does a lot of tarp shelter building.
If I say I have a big Johnson, is it going to happen??? ;))) BTW, great vid and topic. "The greatest weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steven Biko.
It might. RJ has some pills to sell you that will help allegedly.
