and they want us to believe that a force like that cannot be used for a "free energy" generator (that isn't free and doesn't violate any physic law, just use and consume energy stored in magnets with an efficency close to 100%)
@7B17 Chun Kit LAI 1000 pounds of force isn't impossible to take off if he uses wedges and some way to slide it I'm sure. It's probably a risk of breaking the magnet and a safety hazard
It was interesting; I didn't expect them to collide so hard that some of the smaller magnets ended up on the back of the larger one. Crazy! But even crazier was the use of telekinesis to separate them again afterwards.
Also helps the fact that the ball of small magnets deform, whereas a block of steel is very rigid. Like when they almost fully wrapped around the big magnet, rather than sticking to one side.
All the way through the video I was so anxious thinking 'if something has 1000lb pull force you shouldn't put your hands in the way' And then you explained. Thank you
That was actually kind of scary the way the big magnet ripped that ball of smaller magnets apart. I can only imagine that is what a black hole does when matter gets too close to it.
Zombik007 These magnetic pellets stopped being sold in stores because kids were eating them, and if 2 of them were in different parts of your digestive system, they’d actually rip through the walls of tissue when attracting to each other and cause internal bleeding

I have neodymium jacket built several years ago and I love travelling "glued" to roof of the car and back of the truck. But dont try it, its illegal. Hell of a fun though as you cannot fall, so technically its safe.
I was hoping you were going to touch on that topic: what amount of ferrometal would be necessary in order to cause significant damage to one's hand with that magnet. Would've liked some specifics.
Awesome! Good choice on the tiny magnet's being different colors, must be some tough paint. I figured the abbrassive interaction between them and the big one would of made a confetti design on your demonstration table.
@ The Action Lab: When you say "the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet" at 3:23 that's not correct. If the pole of the larger magnet is North then by saying the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet that means south is pointing away. So when you bring it closer it should connect (attract) not push away (repel). It should be said the same pole is pointing away from the magnet. To the untrained eye this is not good, but to the trained eye I know what you meant to say .... Just a thought and a suggestion for you and the viewers. Feel free to try what I taught yourself. :)
I like how you can see spaghettification at play here. The balls closer to the large magnet are pulled so strongly in comparison to the ones further away that they get pulled ahead of them more and more.

Great! Had some good laughs! But for a sec I had a horrible vision of a few loose tiny magnets being pulled slowly but inexorably right through your hand...
Question / Suggestion: are you familiar with the photography technique called “painting with light”? Basically you set your aperture wide open and set the time basically as long as you want. Then with the ambient light off, you use a point light source to “Draw”. I’m sure you know this. Anyhow, perhaps you could do that with the massive neodymium magnets and those tiny ones. Somehow attach a bright LED point light and move that “snake” around the large magnet. Basically outlining or tracing the magnet field lines. Like you can do with iron fillings and a bar magnet. Just a thought
