Beautiful commentary, what a wild insight! I expect in 10, 25, 50 and even 100 years these videos will still be watched by climbers looking back at the history of the sport.
Well said. It cant be overstated how cool it is to have well produced and frequent session vlogs from the best athlete in a given sport. With his own narration. A goat of the people lol
It’s gonna be really crazy to see how social media is going to attribute to history and how differently and frankly wrongly the world might be perceived
It's incredible how much climbing footage your team was able to get from your time in Spain. Even if the main objective was PM, we are all so grateful for the other climbs you were able to document, thank you!
I think climbing is one of the most honest sports. In most sports people only show their successes, but in climbing we see all the failures that lead to that success. Also in climbing you are basically always just competing against yourself. Even in competition, other than speed climbing, you are alone on the wall.
What sports are you talking about? I would say exactly the opposite, that in most sports you see a lot of failure (and sometimes that failure is televised). Most at bats in baseball end in failure, most shots on goal in hockey end in failure, most field goal attempts in basketball end in failure, and the list goes on and on. Most of what we see in sports is a failed attempt. When it comes to extreme sports that aren't aired live like climbing, just because someone decides to include their failures in a video, I don't think there's anything inherently more honest in that than in any other sport. Also, I think it is generally understood that when people are pushing the limits or doing something difficult in extreme sports, most of what they're doing is failing, even if it's not shown.
Gotta love these narrated climbs, always wonder what's going on inside a world class climber like Adam on climbs near his limit. It's nice to know he's a human being too and not a robotic rope gun!
Climbing is just functional strenght, endurance and mental control at its finest. So much respect for the sport. I see a lot of teens thrown into the bodybuilding scene for aesthetics it`s funny almost.
Yeah Adam! So good man! I was cheering for you out loud for that ended crux-so awesome 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 and yes that upper part is so unique! Never seen rock with that kind of a layout 🤔🙂 again, great sending! Great video with a ‘I feel like I’m there watching it live’ vibe 👍🏻
man, I love these vids more than anything else. every time I see one uploaded I get giddy with excitement😂😁😁 Is that just me or are other people the same way?😂
Best climber in the world has been crushing all climbs above 9a, managed to do a 9c even and after 6 years hopes that particular 9a ,which felt like shit at the time, would be easy now that he's so much stronger. Except it *still* feels like shit, lol! Fantastic video!
Great Climb Adam!! Congrats!!💪💪 If Ramon says 9a it is probably 9b. Amazing to see AO having to spend so many tries on a 9a. Ramon has a reputation for sandbagging for a reason, hahahahahaha. 💪💪💪
Would it be possible to share the full video of the last 6a part of the whole ascent? That would be fab for absolute beginners like myself and a great learning resource 😉 Amazing to watch as always - so epic place and climbing 😮 Thank you! 🙏
Hey TeamOndra, great job! I really like these kind of videos, the only improvement for me would be, if you could write or say, when the footage was recorded. But still, amazing job!
Howdy Adam, nice channel like your style, would be nice to see a collab with Magnus Midtbo, would be nice to see your personalities engaged in something common, like a challenge or anything. Keep up the good work!!!
Perhaps it was bad that silence was my introduction to adam... now I watch him do an 8b and I'm like "how do you fall adam? Its an 8b! I can do 8b!😆😆😆" Jokes aside I might be able to do a 4/5 on a wall so take it easy... Epic video collection Adam, I wish you many years of safety, hope you conquer them all.
Not sure if it has a name, but it's a common trick on overhangs when you didnt fall too far. Basically you're just doing a rock over on the rope itself. If you fell too far though, I think the technique is called boinking. You would boink until you could do this
These commented climbs are the best Adam.
Adam's commentary in a calm voice: "I was feeling that today is probably not the day".
Adam in the background during the climb: "Sakra, pičo!"
What does that mean?
@@MegaClaymore123 hello, exact translation would be:"damn, cunt!" 😇
@@MegaClaymore123 Something like "God dammit, f*ck it!". basically swear words.

Yeah, conditions are shit for 9b+,lets just climb some 9a and keep it easy :D such legend, nice to see you got to send in Margalef Adam.
"The holds are good, mostly two fingers pockets." lol
It's incredible how much climbing footage your team was able to get from your time in Spain. Even if the main objective was PM, we are all so grateful for the other climbs you were able to document, thank you!
It's so humbling that the best part of the climb for you was the 6b/c finish! Shows it's not always about the grade, it's about enjoying the rock!
Lol Adam climbing a brutal 14d just to get to the 10d water runnel where the actual fun is
I'd be tempted to abseil off from the top to try that climb!
@@richardburgess5101 Go 2 routes to the left and you'll have 6b from the ground the whole way up (you see another climber there at the end)! ;)
Adam's excellent grasp of the English language never fails to amaze me.
He also speaks Spanish, Italian and German AFAIK.
@@Sp0nge5 And even Czech! ;P
I can imagine very well Adam's videos being used by a teacher for an anatomy course
Bad food holds, good two finger pockets, bad food holds, bad conditions. Everything slippery. And Adam keeps trying. The man!

I want to try the 6b/6c part...amazing
So incredible, Adam!. I've just recently started climbing, and it's so motivating watching these!
This man might've climbed every route in margalef by this point
except of perfecto mundo 😅
@@lucaa4480 and King Capella
@nb oh you are right. Sorry
I can assure that it’s impossible, you don’t imagine how big Margalef is
I really enjoy Adam's narration
Adam, I am not really into climbing but I love your honest self assessment in many of these videos and motivation to push your limits every day....

Fantastic editing with the heart beat after the little foot slip in the last section. Congrats on beating a personal nightmare, Adam.

The mics used to film this are amazing. Hearing your breathing so clearly really adds to the suspense. My hands are sweating!
Congrats on your Margalef climb. Fantastic video, thanks Adam and team.
Adams videos make rest days a little less depressing
I really enjoy these voice overs. Awesome vid just mean so much more this way. Kudos for Adam and his whole team!
dont know anything about this sport - still could watch this all day
Nice filming! Really good documentation of the route and the process of climbing to the top! Amazing work
Love the format !
Thanks Adam & your team !!!
Damn! Amazing climbing ! Great to watch ! And your film crew are the best. .it's the best climbing footage that i've ever seen!!
“This was the longest time spent on a 9a” - Ondra the goat 🐐
Such powerful sustained climbing, vey impressive
Восхитительно, обожаю горы и скалы. Случайно нашел канал, теперь оторваться не могу, хотя из того что рассказываешь, понимаю меньше половины))
great to have your commentary, makes it much more interesting and good for learning something
you are one of my favourites climbers!!!! i have seen nearly all your videos
Always an absolute pleasure to watch you climb Adam, thanks for the videos.
Really great video and enjoyed the commentary. Well done Adam
Excellent commentary. Love this Adam!
The final music was awesome! Congratulations for sending this!
True inspiration, Adam 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Saw him last week climbing that. So amazed.

So f'n awesome! Way to go Adam - keep those fingers healthy LOL
Really love the chapters feature, so we can peek to see if you made it or not 😂
0:50 is some of the most beautiful climbing I have ever seen.
Amazing route meaning amazing climb. Perfect job
Your videos are really exciting and well narrated, congrats! 🙏🏻👌🏻
wowww the final section is beautifull!!!!!
Honestly it's nice to hear the best climber in the world struggles with routes totally in their grade but their antistyle
Loved the commentary. Congratulations!
Fantastic adam!! Congrats!! Felicidades amigo!
Amazing! You're a BEAST!
Really like the idea of such a hard, direct start to such an area, on it comments, deluxe camera 🎬

Adame, držím pěsti na další výstupy.👍
Congrats Adam !
And you have rights to dislike a cliff or a style you know ;-) !!

Alex Megos recently talked about how this route was a big struggle for him too, taking him 5 sessions. It certainly seems like it's at least 9a+
Big fan from India ❣️
Incredible!!! thanks for sharing Adam 🤙
2024 I'm coming for you in the Olympics Adam!! 😆💪🏾
So awesome Adam!
Commented climbs are the only climbing content I consume
I want to be a part of your documentary team
Videography and climbing are my passions
You’re awesome man
thanks for sharing the experience

Thank you for being born.
Well done Tom Bolger for climbing Ondra's nemesis 9a!
Great video, so given your best grade is 9c, and my best grade is 6c, does that mean that a 9a for you feels like a 6a does for me ? 😉😂
Bravo à toi Adam
Increïble! Bravo
Really cool and inspiring
great work hunny!!!!
Good job Adam.

I was interested to see also the last 6b part, even if it’s easy part. Too bad it was cut
Goddam Adam, know your 6b from your 6c!!!
At his level, I imagine he feels them the same aka "quick, easy and fun".
Me: quick, not really, easy ... nope, fun definitely
It’s 5.10b vs 5.10d right?
what a beast, i'm struggling with 7a boulders :,,D
The foot slip made me feel my injured finger (that I injured in a footslip)

Adam, could you please explain the foot technique at minute 1:50? Thanx :D
Awesome!
Adam Ondra complains about conditions.
Big feels from the uk 😂
so at least you didn´t go home empty handed :)
and as i saw in bottom of the rock, i think he didnt go home with full "eggs" neither.
