5:00 quick correction the seikret auto explore makes it so that the saeikret roams around on its own if there is no waypoint or target, if you have it off it will just stand still until you set a waypoint
Well I have it off and if have a target or a waypoint set the seikret goes to it automatically, if you don’t have anything selected it just stands still unless or moves straight forward depending on if I tell it to stop or not, I do play with M&K idk if that affects anything
@@iggyig420 It's actually correct. I"ve been using Seikret auto explore while idle for some time over the weekend. It goes between a series of points on the map if you have no waypoint. The setting has no bearing on when you've got a waypoint or a targetted monster. That's the auto vs manual mount modes.
Ive also found that on controller setting the deadzone minimum for the camera to 0, so theres no deadzone, makes moving the camera feel more responsive so id recommend people to try that and see how it feels
I'm saving this video for the future when the game actually comes out. I don't know if the settings will be brought into the actual game, but I'll save the video and edit it there, once the game is out.
I certainly hope so. With this many gameplay settings, never mind all of the graphical and performance related settings, you could lose your mind in 4 months. “I swear it wasn’t doing this before, how do I fix that?” 😂
Thank you so much! I would like this video 50 times if I could. I’ve seen several “change these five settings to improve the game” videos, but nobody has actually gone into detail on a bunch of these setting and explained what they do. This is the best video of its kind, so far.
Im assuming / hoping that full release will give us the ability to make a private lobby. Im guessing for the beta they wanted to stress test their servers so they had that disabled.
I found something very interesting (at least for me) when i was changing the favourites menu So in the beta i was a bit bummed when i played with friends that you can only see each other in the hub or while on a quest and when you start a quest on a monster in your area, the others have to join it like they are starting an optional quest, so they sync their worlds with yours, it's logical like that but i wanted it to be like that when you join each other your worlds already connect and you can see each other all the time. So i was left hoping it'll be like that in the full game. Now in the favorites menu i found options that say something like environment link (you can see it in this video too). There's an option for inviting everyone in the lobby, one for leaving it and one for disbanding it. So now my hopes are up much higher, that you have two options to play with your friends. 1. like in the beta 2. join an environment link and then you can go around together, hunt the same monsters or different monsters at the same time and it's all linked together, you're just in the same world (i hope it'll work like that) It would be sooo cool to just roam the whole map with your friends but i think some limitations will be there like you can only be on the same map.
Really hoping to get more customization for keyboard controls in the full release. I loved the dual blades in world and rise and simply could not get used to the new controls.
The issue is that IG is likely considered melee in this way, even if it has another feature that does aim, apart from focus mode, I can see a scenario where people would want to have a different setting for the ranged weapons' focus mode and also want IG to function like a ranged weapon but that is not how it works. I miss the way it worked in Iceborne. Where swapping between aiming, for a gunner weapon or IG, and slinger aiming was pushing in on the aiming analogue stick. They kind of messed up on this for Wilds. Because of how this works, for IG you have to use aiming and shooting the kinsect with the triggers on the same side of the controller and that feels really awkward. Focus mode doesn't really solve this because it doesn't have the advantage of the normal aim telling you what extract you will get form the part you are looking at.
Maybe you have HDR enabled but have bad HDR. Windows 10 unironically makes HDR worse when I swapped to windows 11 on the same hardware my HDR improved massively. Either way sometimes HDR is bad on certain setups of hardware. Could also be you don’t have HDR and he does.
Not sure why no one has said this yet, but it’s almost certainly because you’re using heavier AI upscaling than the video. The guy in the video probably has a good enough PC to support playing natively or at least with less upscaling.
@darkhero2 seikret auto explore doesnt cancle the auto traveling it only activates if you don't have anything targeted. Your seikret will start to wonder around randomly. 😎👍
9:40 I've noticed in my greatsword playthroughs that having toggle turned on is more detrimental. Cause now you can't sheeth without first toggling focus mode off before sheathing. It feels awkward in combat especially in the heat of the moment. Hope that is fixed in the full release.
@@wearwolf4202 just to be clear, what you are requesting from them is the ability to sheath while in focus mode? It’s not entirely clear what you want fixed in your original comment sorry.
sprint, sheathe and focus strike is bound to the same button, at least on PC. I sometimes forget to toggle off focus mode so I accidentally go into the focus strike animation, when I wanted to sheathe my weapon to dodge an attack or chase a monster. I just got the idea of setting up a macro to turn off focus mode and then sheathe my weapon; but I have to remember to only use it while focus mode is on. Otherwise, it's gonna be a macro that goes into focus mode and activates focus strike.
@@seyren925You can also sheathe with square (left face button) but yeah I totally agree. It's not super easy to tell when you're in focus mode so sometimes you forget to turn it off and in general having to quickly toggle it on and off in combat is just annoying so for me having it held is easier. There are some weapons like insect glaive where you'll be holding it pretty much the whole time but I haven't had any issues with that.
They have alot of work to do with this one no flow combat claw grip for no reason steps backwards not forwards is all I'm seeing hopefully this is missing something clutchclaw was awesome compared to this
hi, i have seen that in your footage when u r in the plains you are able to see the grass from a really long distance making it very pretty, and i have kinda of an issue where the grass only renders in like a 20m circle around my hunter. and everything else is left kinda empty until i get in the "RENDER" zone like i can see the creatures from afar and all the big things but not the grass and little details. You can, I do show that as one of the options in this video. The way I set it up, if I press "O" the seikret will come in manual mode, but if I press Up on the D-Pad the seikret will come in auto run
Eh not really u probably didn’t play it. The gameplay is very different with no clutch claw and the new focus mode but that’s just the gameplay many other differences too
1. I prefer damage numbers off. 2. I have the entire hud off except for the map. 3. I don’t use the seikret unless the map says I have to. 4. Auto sheathe is awful. Turn it off. 5. Yes but you only do it once and never again. Like spend 30 minutes and you're set
I want to see this guy's graphic settings too, I have the same question
They should group one set with another. The controller options should be first (if you play a console) and vice virsa with PC.

As a PC Player, i recommend trying out Mouse and Keyboard! with the focus mode its not a bad option!
My ps5 broke and I made the full switch to pc. I haven't tried keyboard and mouse yet. But I will now!
