I just watched the movie just now and went to UA-cam to see a review and you're the one I found yours 1st. Having watched all the Infinite Earths movies the day it was released I loved the 1st and the 3rd one. It literally gave me goosebumps when I saw JLU Earth and Dark Apocalypse War JLU again. Granted I never any comics from DC and Marvel so my enjoyment in this movie is different from yours but I get why you say it has many fillers. The whole 2nd Crisis movie was a filler to me. Anyways loved the movie. Excited to where DC Animation is headed towards. Also can we talk about how when Earth 2003 was destroyed and WE DID NOT SEE the Teen Titans. I was ticked off with that. That was my favorite show besides JLU.

And also neither Bruce Timm nor other people related to that universe mentioned that this movie is canonical with their universe, the same as the super friends.
First of all Kevin Conroy's part and THE John Stewart from that Justice League anime back then really did it for me and tbh either this finale is good or bad don't matter because James Gunn's universe coming through is inevitable.

As I understand it yes. James Gunn wants all the animated films and games etc to fit into his new universe of stuff. Hence why this ( crisis ) came about as an animated feature ( or 3 ) to reset it all. Whether that means we won’t get any animated films that are considered ‘Elseworlds’ I don’t know. So at this stage I’d say everything is for the chop. I don’t know where young justice is at now. Or if there’s a season or that to stil air - but my guess - if there was it would be aired but set prior to these events. But as far as I know. Everything was being wound down. All in all was an average watch. The story doesn’t made a lot of sense but I don’t think even the writers understood it or cared much about it they just wanted to get over with it. I felt like this was just a cash laundering scheme to make people forget about the previous animated shows & films/universes of the past 50+ yrs. It's one of the reasons why I'm hoping that the next DCAU is connected with James Gun's DCU, in the hopes it stop this nonsense for multiple projects that were initially planned and never meant to be executed back during the Synderverse years. Shows like Harley Quinn, My adventures with superman, young justice, and the upcoming Kite-man show should have been erased as well. Hell, even Lego Batman and superpets should been included in the erasure. But nope. W.B needs to stop letting writers who have only read a few comics in their lifetime make these films. I AGREE, it was just MEH, they could've done without a few storylines, i enjoyed flash's, and even super girls because it tied into her relationship with brainiac, batmans was meh", but it was cool seeing him called "dad by the huntress. FLASHPOINTS animation and the movie itself was better. overall? 5/10

Even have an interaction between Bruce and Terry seeing how Batman beyond is in it. Super friends would have been more tricky because almost the entire cast past away.I think the only one from Souter friends that’s still alive is Megatron himself Frank Welker that’s about it.
