I love the original so much and am so excited for this version, despite them removing my fav character from the Japanese version. Despite the comedy and rediculousness it is a show with a great core message and a lot of heart
it really looks unique i didn't watch the Japanese one too so I'm pretty excited for it especially since as u said earth is a comedian and mix matches his freak!!
the og also has two seasons so they could easily stretch it out and include a couple episodes from the sequel but I think they have enough just from season 1.
