Been listening to Steve for YEARS. This man is an under-rated spiritual giant and I get so mad, I could spit that he isn't often mentioned along the names of Sproul, Stanley and MacArthur. But you know what? Maybe it's because Jesus loves Steve more. Maybe he's not mentioned among THOSE names because he's not part of THAT circle but part of Jesus' inner circle. Lol
I have listened to Steve for over 25 years. Hs teachings kept me getting closer to my personal understanding of how much God loves us…me. Its so important to know God loves us and we aren’t perfect but He is.
You can't get much more faithful to His Word than Voddie & Johnny Mac. Stanley Jr is more than compromised, he's a woke joke. Charles was faithful I guess, just theology light/fat free milk toast. This is my first experience with this shepherd & he seems like a powerhouse. Doesn't take much in this culture. Go's is no respecter of persons. He keeps us. We're powerless to save ourselves or keep ourselves. but nothing & no-one can take what's His away. These men humble themselves & God exalts them. The evanjellyfish "church" has starved for too long. There's a sort of revival, certainly for sound doctrine. Calm before the storm if I had to guess. Let's not put any man on a pedestal. Let's just love the brethren. Everyone shall be known by their fruit. Good works can't save, but salvific faith produces those zealous for good works.
Both things can be true. God has to soften our hearts. At the same time you still have a bunch of choices on a daily basis that God allows you to choose from...
Well, no, it’s fundamentally incorrect. In order to know all things, you automatically know everyone’s decisions, regardless of your own decisions. But… since when has god been restricted by the fundamental laws of logic? Paradoxes won’t stop him.
@@Site_57God knows every possible outcome of every decision, every 'butterfly effect' for all of time. Like a predictive modeling supercomputer. In that he knows the future, as in every conceivable future reality, all at once, back to the start of time. The question is over how much is then enforced/guided or left to human 'free will'.
I keep seeing Steve in the comments I’ll try to find the full name ( but this is the answer I was searching, someone that doesn’t try to explain it using human knowledge, which clearly isn’t possible, only wisdom is the scripture itself)
Amazingly said he knows us!!!!!! GOD KNOWS!
Older gentlemen are often so very wise. It's best to listen deeply

If God is the God who works all things according to the counsel of his will, what things are outside of the "all things" in Ephesians 1?
Yes, this is a mystery! God is sovereign and we're not. He loves us and gave his life for us!
