Great and to the point, thank you. Anytime I search for a turtorial the person usually spends about 25% of the video, promoting other videos related to the topic and then begin to overly explain why you would use the key feature and then about 35% of the video is them actually showing you. It's damaging for the algorithm to make shorter tutorials but then you get better feedback I guess, either way thank you for this nice and simple guide. You have my sub dude and my like
This was awesome! Finally a simple short easy to follow tutorial! I just got hired for my first animation/VFX job and I’m in a way over my head. This has been helpful! Thank you
why this doesnt work with a 2 colour animation that i made in photoshop, the background just doesnt disappear maybe is there an easier way to this in this case? ?
When I use source crop, it leaves empty black space. So when I add my clip underneath, it shows up everywhere except where I cropped. Those continue to be black spaces. Ideas?
Hey is there a way I can hand blur out those spots I don’t want to be green screened? I am new and I am struggling with this problem. The video I am editing contains a variety of colours so that means every basically every colour is in it. Is there like a tool u can use to hand pick the spot that is green screened
I don’t know if you still need help with this, but if what you’re saying is the subject also has green on them, than the green screen can not be used and you would instead have to rotoscope the subject out.
The fact that this is 2min! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 No filler information, straight to the point! Thanks.
This is one of the most informative tutorial i have even seen, no time wasted, straight to the point.

Does this only work with green? I tried to remove a grey color background and it would not work
You can key any color grey just might be hard to isolate, try rotoscope instead

What if the person has green eyes? any other method apart from using color picker
You can try just masking out the eyes separately or use a blue screen, or use luma keying / combination of those
10x, Justin!
Thank you!!! 😉
Effects - Keying - Keylight 1.2 (0:23)
Color picker - select greenscreen.
