2000s was the best era to grow up in truly people say 80s but people don’t realize what music and movies the 2000s brought to this world
Agreed. Totally agreed. The 80s were sucky in comparison. Too much cigarrette smoke and spandex. The 00s had Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Troy, 300, Kill Bill, Pirates of the Carribean. Entertainment was also lit. WWE Raw with Jim Ross, Goldberg. Batista, Triple H, the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit, X Box games like Halo, Medal of Honor Frontline, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. The decade was off the chain. By far the best decade we ever experienced. It was Babylon on Earth.
I was alive during 80's. Out of the 80's, 90's and 2000's....the 90's was the best, then 2000's, then 80's. And I was old enough to remember all three decades.

Last year, I rewatched some videos I used to watch back in 2007 when they came out. I was unsurprised by the many comments saying that they remembered the videos fondly, but I felt a feeling that I can't really explain or describe when I read comments saying that the videos were posted before they were even born. One of them even said they were born the very day the video was posted.
God I loved those days.
If I may paraphrase SpongeBob here: after the life I've had, if I could die in a freak accident due to the carelessness of a friend, well, that'd just be okay.
Yes, there are times in our lives that we wish we could relive, but if we already lived them perfectly, why live them again? The adventure of life is that there's always something new, new challenges and new experiences. Life isn't about going back, it's about going forward.
Tell that to the 80s and 90s people

Early-2000s (2000, 2001, 2002 & 2003)
Mid-2000s (2003, 2004, 2005 & 2006)
Late-2000s (2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009)
Trust me...as someone older...the 90's were MUCH better. But the 2000's were decent too. Post-2010 things started to decline though.

I remember a book that was similar to a Where's Waldo book. It was the same concept: looking for stuff in pictures. It was Christmas-themed. It may have even been made by the same people. One of the images was of a forest of candy canes, one with vertical stripes instead of spiral ones and a word bubble that said "Something must have gone wrong"; another one with polka dots instead of stripes and a word bubble that said "I'm not myself today"; and a small one that was pure white and had a word bubble that said "I'm too young to have stripes." That book also had a picture of elves making wreathes on a sort of assembly line, and another one of multiple Santas on different roofs, all of which had word bubbles which said "I'm not real" except for one, whose word bubble said "I'm real." I wish I remembered the title of the book. Does this sound familiar to any of you?
In my opinion the last really good decade of music was 2000 - 2010. Thanks again for your memory lane. Really cheered me up. I commented on your 1980s and 1990s and subscribed. These are all so good! I am about to watch your 2010's. Some good music and films there too and I'm sure you did a good job! Can't wait to see it and comment again.
Agreed. After 2010...things started to go down hill. It was a slow decline though. Still some decent stuff post-2010 in the earlier years. The later to go though...the worse things were. That goes for music and movies IMO.
Dude, these videos (the 80's, this one, the 90's etc) are amazing!! Please do more, have subscribed for these sorts of vids :). These are the sort of videos that I have playing on the TV in the background when we have friends over, great music and movie selections. Sensational work :)

The 2000s are great but this decade made me question human decency
Why? Things are MUCH worse post-2020 and honestly, before then. I've been alive now for a long time and the 2000's was still decent. People were still pretty good. It was only when social media hit that things really went down hill and society started to decline. Although, IMO, the 90's was the best decade.

While I appreciate the editing, the 2000s and 2010s really *don't* have much of a visual or cultural identity compared to the *80s* ....and the music is cringy 😄
You’ve had forty years to figure out everything that’s good from the 80s and find out what, specifically, would be remembered and iconic many decades later. The 2000s is only now moving into that position and the 2010s ended just four years ago, not exactly a fair comparison, the 80s had lots of crap. Plus, the 80s had the benefit of reaching nostalgic status when the internet was in its infancy, people weren’t as critical and cynical back then.
The 70s one in the 60s one even though I barely remember the 70s and 60s was over before I was three. Those actually bought true emotion to the point of tears. The 80s one too. The 90s one sort of was great but after that it just doesn’t interest me anymore
@@smonkedweed7414 No you’re wrong. When we were living in the 80s we knew it was awesome. We knew it was a great era and a great time. People loved our country we revered Ronald Reagan for the most part. We thought the music and fashions was just great. Even kids today know that the music sucks
@@michaelrochester48 Uh, no, first off as you say you were a child, secondly, the 80s, a time of immense reaction, anti-worker policy, austerity, and union busting was actually a pretty sh*t time if you weren't an upper middle class white person. Reagan was specifically one of the worst, most wicked presidents in US history
