nah kerbal space program is nowhere near as good as this. space engine just needs to be made into a full fledged game. this is a VERY good starting point. if anything, we need modding tools, really.
These videos are beautiful. Can't help but think how the rest of UA-cam is missing out on your videos because the absence of the word "relaxation " in the titles. I had no idea your work existed until I came across Space Engine recently. Your videos are definitely a lot better than most of the space relaxation stuff on UA-cam that use wallpapers as backgrounds to their music.
If you're a fan of Two Steps music I'd recommend Star Sky Instrumental for one of these videos. That song has a certain magic about it that works perfect for this type of thing.
Wow, another great video as always! Thanks again for posting, and please keep making them! We all love to see them, so keep 'em coming! Also, are you using the space engine recording software? If not, what are you using? Your framerates are so silky smooth! I have tried recording with Fraps, but get low frame rates (in game is even worse) with 980's in SLI. I dont know why the frames are so low when recording :( Anyways thanks again!
+bmanZZZ11 maybe you can try recording while having your camera move half as fast, and your time move half as fast, then speed it up in while editing afterwards? Anyway have fun recording. Also add some screenshots if you find good ones, they make great wallpaper. Oh and according to one of LiveLife42's comment, apparently SpaceEngine does not support sli yet... :(
I think the one thing space engine misses is plant life trees and maybe even some signs of advanced civilization or prehistoric civilization in some planets that have multi cellular organic life forms.
A graphic card only does the calculations for rendering. They don't decide what the game looks like, though a faster card will allow for faster rendering and thus give better fps. I have a gtx 980ti and space engine still has low fps with fully cranked settings. The thing is still in development and doesn't have the best optimization.
+LifeLive42 Doesn't get much better than this.. simply a fantastic piece of art and sound!! Thank you. Question, which movie maker do you use to bring it all together?
How high end does a computer have to be to handle the max settings without lagging? I have a pretty powerful PC. Just wondering what the specs would have to be.
+GamingCasing Ok cool. Umm...do you know where to find the mods, like the texture mods? I would like to see the terrain in the planets from orbit and some better looking clouds and shaders as well.
It was fun for the first 5-10 hours and after that the grind just started to really get boring. So yeah I was severely disappointed especially since it was 60$.
Would love to see something like this for elite dangerous. Although some of the planets are fairly bland in comparison to this, hopefully one day it can rival space engine in exploration.
The movie is so brilliant! And may i know your configuration of the computer plz?thanks!i have got the 6700k and gtx 970withSSD,but still got very low fps when i Recorded the screen by using the recorder in the software, this made the output movie‘s time absolutely crashed。。。。
Typhooni Tbh the only reason I did it before was because reshade would freeze the very upper part of the screen. I letterboxed it to hide the frozen part. Luckily the new SpaceEngine has contrast and tone settings in engine so I no longer have to use ReShade hence my videos are no longer letterboxed.
If only kerbal space program could look like this

Without a doubt one of your best videos
Awesome - just awesome. As close to spirituality as it comes for me.
+Allan Clarke Just figured out how to get these videos up on my big screen TV. Now all I need is to get 4K videos from you. :)
+Allan Clarke maybe when space engine supports sli will I do 4K videos.
+LifeLive42 I could have sworn it was.
Stunning
I have no words!!!
How do these videos not have more views?

how do you find such amazing looking planets? Great video!
These planets are created by LifeLive.
What's that?
Wouah !! :D
Ничто себе! Это просто потрясающе!
That little final remembered me:
What about doing more Exploration Probes videos? They are cool.
all the likes
I love you
I wonder if they could use this for a space survival game
i dont know why but 2:34 reminds me of kung fu panda 2 XDDDD
I think the one thing space engine misses is plant life trees and maybe even some signs of advanced civilization or prehistoric civilization in some planets that have multi cellular organic life forms.
the 0.974 update has added visible plant matter... in the form of a texture
i wonder why i don't have this beautiful montain on earth my graphic don't seem as good
what settings do you use to make your game look so good??
what render settings are you using on your sony vegas?
how do get such detailed planets?
Crank up the settings to max. It lags like fuck though, and as for shaders i think he uses a preset of some sort.

The graphics look really real but it a game .......
thats why u need to have a 4000$ PC
+LifeLive42 Doesn't get much better than this.. simply a fantastic piece of art and sound!! Thank you.
Question, which movie maker do you use to bring it all together?
+Jamie Hubbard I use Sony Vegas Pro 13
LifeLive42 Nice choice, I had a feeling it was a Sony. That is one of the top of the line programs for the price. :) Thanks
and what are your render settings? everytime i render mine out i always end up getting low bitrate, pixelation
Nusss
Do you use the in-game video capturer? If yes, what codec do you use?
No I used fraps to take this footage.
How high end does a computer have to be to handle the max settings without lagging? I have a pretty powerful PC. Just wondering what the specs would have to be.
Im not sure but if I crank my settings to full with my gtx 980 ti and an i7 4790k I get around 20-50fps on a planet surface.
+GamingCasing Ok cool. Umm...do you know where to find the mods, like the texture mods? I would like to see the terrain in the planets from orbit and some better looking clouds and shaders as well.
I don't really know for sure but it is some where on the forum. The entire space engine page is kind of a mess. :/
+GamingCasing Yeah well it was translated. I'll find them, it may just take a while. Thanks 😀
TSFH + SE... What could be better...
The links dont lead to eny mods....
MAKE A TUTORIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAAAAAAMN
Which Version is this from?
Yeah my space engine doesn't look this crisp for some reason. Maybe its the mods you are using?
Maybe u will make some "No Man's Sky" videos when the game is released in June?
Norman Grubb that didn't turned out great, didn't it haha 😂
Yeah I still have the no man's sky project on my pc somewhere but I don't have the discipline to keep playing it and finish the video.
LifeLive42 I was really disappointed in that game when it was finally released, how about you?
It was fun for the first 5-10 hours and after that the grind just started to really get boring. So yeah I was severely disappointed especially since it was 60$.

Tytytyty
I clicked into the mod link but it is Forbidden :(

I have an i7 3770k with a GTX 780
Allahu 😭🇧🇩😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Please for the love of ultrawide, don't ever letterbox your stuff again. Let UA-cam decide which aspect ratio fits best.

Awesome! I seriously love your stuff! Subbed as well, meanwhile I think that "A Cosmic Journey" and "Serenity" are your best work! Keep it up! :D
Also by the way, I am going to promote this channel hard, I can't believe you only have 2.5k subs, I am going to make sure that is going up! :)
