    If only kerbal space program could look like this

    • @aquarius5264
      @aquarius5264 4 роки тому +1

      nah kerbal space program is nowhere near as good as this. space engine just needs to be made into a full fledged game. this is a VERY good starting point. if anything, we need modding tools, really.

    These videos are beautiful. Can't help but think how the rest of UA-cam is missing out on your videos because the absence of the word "relaxation " in the titles. I had no idea your work existed until I came across Space Engine recently. Your videos are definitely a lot better than most of the space relaxation stuff on UA-cam that use wallpapers as backgrounds to their music.

    If you're a fan of Two Steps music I'd recommend Star Sky Instrumental for one of these videos. That song has a certain magic about it that works perfect for this type of thing.

    Wow, another great video as always! Thanks again for posting, and please keep making them! We all love to see them, so keep 'em coming! Also, are you using the space engine recording software? If not, what are you using? Your framerates are so silky smooth! I have tried recording with Fraps, but get low frame rates (in game is even worse) with 980's in SLI. I dont know why the frames are so low when recording :( Anyways thanks again!

    • @seahyx120
      @seahyx120 8 років тому

      +bmanZZZ11 maybe you can try recording while having your camera move half as fast, and your time move half as fast, then speed it up in while editing afterwards? Anyway have fun recording. Also add some screenshots if you find good ones, they make great wallpaper.
      Oh and according to one of LiveLife42's comment, apparently SpaceEngine does not support sli yet... :(

    I think the one thing space engine misses is plant life trees and maybe even some signs of advanced civilization or prehistoric civilization in some planets that have multi cellular organic life forms.

    • @relevantusername192
      @relevantusername192 8 років тому

      Crank up the settings to max. It lags like fuck though, and as for shaders i think he uses a preset of some sort.

    • @relevantusername192
      @relevantusername192 8 років тому

      A graphic card only does the calculations for rendering. They don't decide what the game looks like, though a faster card will allow for faster rendering and thus give better fps. I have a gtx 980ti and space engine still has low fps with fully cranked settings. The thing is still in development and doesn't have the best optimization.

    How high end does a computer have to be to handle the max settings without lagging? I have a pretty powerful PC. Just wondering what the specs would have to be.

    • @relevantusername192
      @relevantusername192 8 років тому +1

      Im not sure but if I crank my settings to full with my gtx 980 ti and an i7 4790k I get around 20-50fps on a planet surface.

      +GamingCasing Ok cool. Umm...do you know where to find the mods, like the texture mods? I would like to see the terrain in the planets from orbit and some better looking clouds and shaders as well.

    • @LifeLive42
      @LifeLive42  8 років тому +2

      It was fun for the first 5-10 hours and after that the grind just started to really get boring. So yeah I was severely disappointed especially since it was 60$.

      Would love to see something like this for elite dangerous. Although some of the planets are fairly bland in comparison to this, hopefully one day it can rival space engine in exploration.

    Please for the love of ultrawide, don't ever letterbox your stuff again. Let UA-cam decide which aspect ratio fits best.

    • @LifeLive42
      @LifeLive42  6 років тому

      Typhooni Tbh the only reason I did it before was because reshade would freeze the very upper part of the screen. I letterboxed it to hide the frozen part. Luckily the new SpaceEngine has contrast and tone settings in engine so I no longer have to use ReShade hence my videos are no longer letterboxed.
