Of course. I’ve used Seafoam spray in several 4stroke and 2stroke engines. Just the other day, I fixed up my 35 year old chainsaw by spraying Seafoam directly in the carburetor and held that bitch in full throttle. It wouldn’t run before. After spraying it in the carb for several minutes, it runs great. Idles beautifully, revs high, etc etc. Carb is cleaned out, even without me having to replace and clean any jets in it.
yep, Chris fix is the first and only person on the planet that knows that burning oil in an engine makes white smoke in military tanks, air shows and uhhh Chevrolet's. Let's bust this guy and show how smart we are.
the smoke screens in tracked vehicles(which are predominantly the only ones with such feature) is made by an actual smoke generator. also, deep creep and the engine clean are not the same product. deep creep is a lube as the engine clean is well an engine clean spray. LOL
No. Because you won't be messing with the fuel it's still going through the crankcase and cylinder, it is untouched by the seafoam. The engine will still be lubricated fine.
I like Seafoam, put in all engines to bed in the fall, every tank of gas in the 4 stroke merc. BUT I just added 3 tbs to a full tank on the weedeater and blew it up.. no clue if it's the Seafoam or the great lawn God calling the trimmer home. It was a fairly new cheap Ryobi. Now I have some parts.

You can use it either way. Adding to fuel works as a fuel stabilizer plus slight cleaner as you run the machine. Adding to the intake will remove more carbon build up in a hurry. More useful on older machines
Newer are fine as carbs are made to use up to 10% now days like auto mobiles. Use storage additive and the gas stays good longer also. All 2 cycles need exhaust ports cleaned after year or more but that is easy .

If you run your trimmer at wide open throttle often, and use the right oil mixture, it will never carbon up. Take out the screen also if you don't live in the forest.
WHY? I have 100's of hours on my Echo 25cc 2-stroke engine. I just replaced the carburetor. Both intake and exhaust were antiseptically clean. 😂
does using seafoam risk breaking off chunks of carbon into the chamber and causing scoring on the cylinder walls?
No
Seafoam spray is a Gasoline direct injection, deep creep is a penetrating oil, how are they the same thing?
Both say 100% petroleum

2 strokes tend not to build much carbon if the have the correct mix and tuning.
it's common on low end manufacturers like craftsman and ryobi
Using this method cleans the entire fuel system? Or I would have to pour some in the tank
You can add some seafoam (liquid form bottle) to your fuel aswell as a cleaner/stabilizer.
10ml per Litre of gas
@@noteworthy227 Thanks boss!
you can do both. I store my gas/oil mix with the seafoam in it so it's always running through the system
This doesn't help if you can't start the engine!
I'll bet 20 bucks that you heard the smoke is not the carbon and the smoke screen thing from cris fix

so what theres smoke your hung up on the smoke let it go buddy you wanna call the fire department
You can take off your carb and soak it in gas for a small period of time & achieve the same clean burning carb without the smoke.. lol
Not necessarily.. seafoam cleans combustion chamber, exhaust and carb.
Cleaning the carb with gas wouldn't be the same.
I have used spray engine cleaner for outboards that way for years
You realize how a 2 stroke works? Anything you add to the fuel goes through the entire engine so why bother spraying it in the carby.
nuthn2do if that works i'd be more likely to do it
That's the manufacturer's recommendation for small engines. I suspect they know their product

What happens if you added sea foam to gas tank?
Come spring, put a couple oz. seaform in gas tank and add your gas. Lot easier and faster.
I put one capfull of seafoam in the weed whacker gas tank every spring.3-4 capfulls in the lawn mower. (using the cap on the seafoam bottle).
it's recommended. that way it's always running through your fuel system
Machine didn't need it, OK for a demo but waste of time and money. Use the best oil and no probs
Don’t forget two-stroke lawn boy lawnmower
fogging
