- Los World Music Awards es un premio anual patrocinado por el Príncipe Alberto de Mónaco que distingue a las figuras de la industria discográfica con más ventas en el mundo. En el presente registro se observa la primera parte de la edición del año 1993 que, bajo la conducción de Michael Douglas, contó con los musicales de los artistas premiados. Tina Turner abre la gala con “I don´t wanna fight”, los Guns N´ Roses son distinguidos como “Artista Hard Rock con más ventas” y Ronnie Wood y Rachael Hunt le entregan a Rod Stewart el reconocimiento de “Leyenda” por su destacada contribución a la industria de la música. También se presentan los musicales y premiaciones de Dr. Alban, Billy Ray Cyrus, Laima Vaikule, INXS, Marius Müller Westernhagen, Boyz II Men, Mylène Farmer y Vaya con Dios. Desde la primera fila, Michael Jackson y sus hijos siguen la ceremonia y saludan a los artistas en escena.
