Okay so talking about Florida.. to get a license you can download “fish hunt FL” app you can buy a license there or alternatively go into a local tackle shop or bass pro and do it over counter. In terms of what’s fishable - unlike UK, USA in general has A LOT more public fishing spots and in general are a lot more supportive and chill with you fishing in most places. Fish brain is a very good app to show you where people have been catching etc so check that out. We did fish areas that technically had signs saying no fishing but had no problems. They’ll only ask you to leave, but that’s no problem because there’s tons of water in Florida and places to fish. Most golf courses also let you fish there. Any more questions, just ask.
